Lec Zorn is the New Hero in the AOR scene and his debut is a Great and Classic AOR album in the mid 80's style everybody knows that i have great tastes in Rock music and easily this album will be one of the best or maybe the best album this year! favs tracks is difficult because all are Great AOR/Melodic Rock songs if you like killer style as Survivor or Phil Vincent then this one is for you simply Lec Zorn is the New Hero! GOOD CD If you are a fan of 80's flavored AOR it's a true PEARL ! imho TRACY WHITE (intruder/shotgun symphony)is perfect and give all the power needed to the songs with his great voice (mix PAUL STANLEY/MICHAEL SWEET)/_82/100 |

This album features enough talent to be brilliant. It falls just below that, but is still a very good AOR album all the same with hints of Shooting Star, Kansas and Survivor in the mix. Who said the 80s were over? Recommended. |

Imagine you came across a parcel done up in glittering paper and you were curious to see what's inside, so you start in haste unpacking it just to discover a little gem in the bottom. This is exactly the case of LZP. I didn¢t expect nothing like this, nothing almost comparable with the fantastic AOR provided by Pride Of Lions “Roaring Of Dreams”. In fact, it's an ode to the classic AOR sound and no wonder that sounds totally 80s. |

Dominant keyboard lines along with brilliant guitar work and some outstanding vocals will lead you to AOR fantasy zones. In many ways “It Began In The Underground” is really a splendid album from start to finish, although it declares its unoriginality in every way possible. Journey, Survivor, Kansas (listen to the amazing cover of “Play The Game Tonight”), Styx, Asia, Shooting Star, Genesis, Pride Of Lions & Radioactive are the inspiration and as a result past meets present in perfect harmony. |

This likeable stuff would have deserved a better cover, booklet, promotion... . I agree with the comments above about Tracy White's well-done job, anyway, a nice surprise under #4 and mainly #9 - Did anybody hear about the singer at that time being (2007)? |
