Some folks would like to unload a pair of six-guns at the whole digital/download/MP3 revolution, but when it comes to albums like this, I'm glad that I can pick & choose which tracks I want to purchase. While the whole album is sonically impressive--great production on this puppy--many of the songs fail to find a really good hook. I downloaded "This is Gonna Hurt," "Lies of the Beautiful People," "Are You With Me Now," & "Deadlihood" and trust me, I'm not gonna miss the rest. It kind of pains me to think about how good this whole CD could have been, but instead I'll just settle for my self-created 4-song EP.

This CD is really good. Don't try to compare with Motley, has a totally (and intentionally) different vibe. I like all the songs, with "Live Forever" my favorite.

The first 3 tracks on here are belters and bar the new Lovex, A better start to an album you will be hard pushed to find this year I reckon. 'Lies Of The Beautiful People' 'This Is Gonna Hurt' and 'Are You With Me' are all fantastic songs. Good tempo to the album with some good slower stuff aswell and 'Oh My God' is another highlight later one which picks things up again. Not to sure about the Muse stylings of 'Goodbye My Friends' but apart from that a pretty damned neat album.
