The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Starz CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Starz are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This one was kind of a letdown. Only the first 9 tracks are actually performed by STARZ. The remaining tunes are from Guitarist Richie Ranno's various solo projects. The first 5 songs are new(well... from '92 actually) tracks from a reformed version of STARZ. With the exception of the ballad "You Called His Name", they're pretty bland. "Texas" is a B-Side they recorded in the '70s. Tracks 7,8, & 9 are live STARZ songs recorded in '78. The live version of "Night Crawler" is superior to the studio |

Definately worth getting if you are a Starz completeist. Gar gives you the background of the songs origins. I quite like the demos from 92 of which Vidi O.D. is probably my fave. Although Requiem is deleted if you pickup the Rykodisc reissues of the bands back catalogue all the Starz songs on this turn up as the bonus tracks across the series. What with re-issues and vinyl versions I must own each of the first 4 Starz albums at least 3 times!!! |
