Sebastian Back rules the vocal kingdom (Not to mention the "fantacy man") of ROCK & ROLL !!!!! The man is a dream come true, what else can be said......

Skid Row's guitar player Scotti Hill has said that the band is almost done with their new album and could have it out by October of this year.

well when youve listened to every skid row album you realise they havent done a bad song so the best of album is outstanding in my opinion you could put any skid row song on here and it wouldnt sound out of place and well as for the unherd songs they rock and like the song says rock on skid row forever

Forever has to be one of the best AOR songs ever done! Skid Row = all-time favorite (w.Sebastian offcourse) Does anyone have the site to Sebastian Bach???????

As far as the 2 previously unreleased songs go "Forever" is quite good but "Fire in the Hole" is just average. "Wasted Time" should have been on this comp as it was one of their best, but I pretty much agree with the track selection otherwise. The cover "art" is terrible however.

34 Hours - what kind of an album is this? Is it Good? Please, tell me...

Skid Row released a new CD called "Thickskin" on 8/5/03. Why isn't that CD listed here for reviews? I can't wait to post my review on this recording. I'll say this, its a GREAT CD!

From: James Date: August 15, 2003 at 17:59
HEY MIKE, look to the left----see the tab that says submit cd? You want the new Skid Row cd on here just go into the submit cd section and enter the information and submit it to heavyharmonies to be included. It is up to us the users to keep submiting the new cd that come out. Now to this disc. I just picked it up for $1.99 and I know the first four songs would have been worth $6 on their own.

From: TIM Date: August 15, 2003 at 18:04
T-BONE has already submitted it. Either Dan or myself will add it when we have the time. There are about 40 other submissions waiting in line. Don't have this particular release but there are definately others I would have included.

From: Mike Date: August 18, 2003 at 12:29
To James & Tim - Thanks! Next time I want a CD added I will submit the info. How did you get this CD for $1.99? I bet someone bought it thinking that Bach was still in the band and it would sound like Slave or the S/T. This is 2003 and with or without a new singer I knew it would have a different "vibe". But Bolan and Snake are still writing the music and songs and that is what counts. Some tunes start off sounding like Creed, but they get heavier and much better. I wish this gets some airplay!

From: James Date: August 18, 2003 at 16:41
I picked up this, 40 Seasons for $1.99. It was in the rough used section at a local cd store and it was $1.00 off day on all used cd's. It didn't have the cd bookled (cover) but I'm well pleased. Some of the songs I was iffy about because they say remix but all in all I have to give this cd a 8/10 but I'm sure I will get more use out of it than most that I pay $14 for. I also picked up Cinderella's "Still Climbing" for $3.99 ths same day. Awesome cd, just like the first two.

Can't get enough of "18 & Life"! AWESOME song!

From: jack Date: May 24, 2004 at 5:37
A very good album. Forever is an awesome songs which is such a shame its an unreleased track. Its a typical 80's hard rock/metal song which provies both metallic and melodic feel in it. The first 4 songs need no introduction while beat yourself blind is 5 minutes of intense metal madness. Ratings:9/10

From: FYI Date: May 24, 2004 at 6:51
If "Forever" is an unreleased track-Why was it on this officially released product? The track surely is released?

From: jack Date: May 27, 2004 at 3:58
Well,i think if skid row were to put this song(forever)in their 1989 debut album(skid row) back in 1989,i reckon that album would be even better and would maybe go on to become thebest rock album in those days. A bit exaggerating,eh?

From: Geoff Date: September 10, 2004 at 3:10
Okay, we all know how good the songs are here, so let me just comment on the only track we don't know, 'Forever'. Absolutely killer commercial hard rock and almost worth the price alone. If you don't have the rest of the songs, this album is just perfect. Awesome band, awesome CD and awesome unreleased song!

From: Kip Date: September 10, 2004 at 21:39
I still don't have that song. I'm gonna have to go sniff it out on line and download it somewhere. I've heard it talked up by a bunch of different people now.

From: Kip Date: March 8, 2005 at 4:20
Finally got to hear 'Forever' today. Listening to it now actually And I can see why the people who have told me how good it is would like it. It sounds like something straight off of Masquerade's self titled album. Very cool song!!

From: Metal T Date: January 16, 2008 at 8:54
Who in f**k picked the songs for this ? The band or some idiot record exec? The exclusion of "Wasted Time" is pretty much beyond contempt...

From: GlamSlam Date: August 11, 2009 at 6:06
Skid Row roxxxx!!!!!!

From: Jay K Date: May 29, 2013 at 19:46
"Forever" is worth any price you would pay for this cd, but how "Wasted Time," arguably Skid Row's greatest song was left off this comp is beyond ridiculous

From: rick kerch vzla Date: October 4, 2013 at 19:02
A good compilation,if you don't have anything of the band this might be sufficient...'nuff said...90/100

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 19, 2014 at 21:15
ind of a weird set. From the bdbut, you get the four singles, and one song that was left off. From Slave To The Grind, you get a couple of the best deep cuts, but "Wasted Time" is nowhere. A hodgepodge of remixes, demos and live tracks ffrom Subhuman Race. Well, I'd have done it differently, but most of the bases are covered. What can you do? Most of us only need it for the last two new-to-us songs.
