One of the best live albums Ye Olde Fizzie One has ever heard. No overdubs, lots of crowd interaction and of course the appearance of the chainsaw for a nearly eight-minute version of "The Lumberjack." Jesse runs his mouth damn near the entire time. A real surprise, right? |

Good live album. Its got all the songs you would expect to be on it and they sound like they were having a great time playing. If you're a Jackyl fan you won't be disappointed. |

Raw'n'Roll at its best!!!..this is the kind of album that is played with the real essence of R'n'R..pure and simple..It's great to listen such classics as "I Stand Alone" (their best song ever!),"Dirty Little Mind","Redneck Punk" and of course "The Lumberjack with the most famous chainsaw in the history on R'n'R!!!(all 4 songs are from their debut album)plus some other goodies such as "Headed For Destruction" & "Down On Me"...anyway the guys fron Atlanta Georgia deliver one hell of a live album.90/100 |

To me, this sounds like a real good soundboard tape, recorded live in Texas on 12/31/95, I believe (I think Pantera were the headliners for that night's festivities). A fairly short set, but packed with staples. Jesse Dupree runs his mouth nonstop, with a few extended raps, which can be annoying or entertaining, depending on your mood. This is the only official recording of "Into The Darkness," to my knowledge, and it's a damn good song. Other favorites would be "Mental Masturbation," "Rock-A-Ho," and the last three tracks. |

Why Did they let Jimmy Stiff and Tom Bettini go?? |
From: Doghouse Reilly | Date: July 8, 2009 at 23:32 |
They both "got religion" and quit. Tom has had a few bands, none of whose names I can recall offhand, but I never heard another word about Jimmy. |

On Apple Music and maybe elsewhere too, this set has been retitled "Live In Dallas 1994." Kind of a bland title, but Night of the Living Dead sounds more like a bad shock-rock band than Jackyl—never understood why they went with that title. |
