If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular The Godz CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from The Godz are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This was a really memorable one when it first came out and kicked loads of bands in the teeth with the sheer power of the noise they made. It got tons of play VERY LOUDLY when I first bought it back in the day. There is nothing on here that is gonna be of much interest to the 'Technical' brigade, as what we have here is pretty simple stuff musically, but the riffs are played with such venom and power you can't help but be won over. There are only 7 tracks on here, but they are all great and the nice remastering job gives them all a big boost aswell. PLAY LOUD, VERY LOUD.

Yeah, this was really badass back in 1979. It sounds dated now, but tracks like "Gotta Keep a Runnin'" were perfect for a bunch of teenage guys spinning LP's back in the day. This was right before the metal scene hit so this was as good as it got back then.

One of the greatest records ever made. Reissue on cd by Rock Candy is a must own for anyone using this site.
