If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Electric Angels CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Electric Angels are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The Electric Angels debut CD is easily in my top 10 of all time, but this CD is pretty disappointing/forgettable. In general the songwriting isn't as strong and the recordings are cleaned up demo's, so they sound thin and have no "body"/low end. The best songs on this collection can also be found on The Loveless CD, where they are properly recorded. This CD is cool to have in your collection if you are a die hard Electric Angels fan, otherwise I would recommend saving your money.

Wow I never thought these songs would get an official release. I've had most of these songs for years and always thought they didn't get the praise and appreciation they deserved. I have to disagree with Rob Rocker above: these songs show a more mature, less sleazy Electric Angels and some are must-haves. New York Times is a superb opener with wonderful guitars and vocals, Lies My Father Told Me is a very haunting song with deep lyrics, Wish I Could Fly is another stand-out, Live Forever is a party rock song with a great riff and my final pick is the ballad Spent the Night with a Memory. The songs sound really good for what they are: demos, and in fact are identical to the tracks I already had. If you liked the debut, you can't miss this one.

It was an honor for us here at Demon Doll Records to get a chance to finally give this material a official release. www.demondollrecords.com
