Excellent CD from these kids. Very reminiscent of Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory album with bone crunching, southern inspired guitars. There really isn't a bad song on the CD, but I could've done without the cover of Shapes of Things. My personal favorites are Maybe Someday, When the Weight Comes Down, and Rollin' On, but like I said, there's really not a bad song here. |

I really wanted to like this band, but damn, I just can't do it. It must be the singer's fault; he turns this into a grunge album with his droning voice. I used to feel just as unimpressed with Brand New Sin on their first album, and loved their second, so maybe the same will happen with Black Stone Cherry. I hope so. |

ok release by BLACK STONE CHERRY ,but to be honest i expected more of it!classic sound ,heavy riffs ,vocs like Zakk Wylde s but i cant find any memorable songs and any great hooks in it!i think that their next releases are much better ! |
