| Pretty much the same old shit from these guys. Downtuned grunge disguised as southern-rock, like Black Label Society Lite. I really like a few songs while they're playing, and am really bored by the rest. "White Trash Millionaire" is good, and "Won't Let Go," "Like I Roll" and "Stay" are okay as well. But then you get really dumb stuff like "Blame It On The Boom-Boom" or "Let Me See You Shake" (which is sure to make some idiots go "It's just like the '80's,' just because it's about strippers). Or these overly-earnest, cliche-riddled can't-we-all-get-along songs like "All I'm Dreamin' Of," and a plodding, sludgy Marshall Tucker Band cover. I always felt like these guys have a lot of potential they're not living up too, and this disc doesn't change that. It's fairly enjoyable while it's playing, but not very memorable later, and there are better bands within the style. This won't be replacing Brand New Sin's "Recipe For Disaster" next to my summertime beer-cooler.

| Modern hard rock with an edge of southern swagger that hits hard enough to give you a black eye. These guys come sporting a big ol' set of cajones that can be heard in every slamming riff they unload on the listener. The band's previous CDs always seemed to be missing some crucial ingredient, but this one strikes an expert balance between heaviness and commercial viability. The Black Label Society comparisons are as obvious as a naked nun strolling through the middle of Mass, but the choruses are way bigger/catchier than BLS ever thought about writing. While the album is built on the strength of its powerhouse riffs, those riffs are backed up by some killer hooks, and the potent riff-hook combination are what make this one of the best modern hard rock releases of 2011. This is so good, even if the devil himself showed up on your doorstep determined to take this away from you, the odds are good that you wouldn't give it up without one hell of a fight.

| very good release by BLACK STONE CHERRY ,very well planned and performed under the guidance of the great Howard Benson!most of the songs are catchy and and tryin to get radio air play ,but i d prefer a less modern commercial sound sometimes!"like a roll","stay","wont let go","blame it on the boom boom" the highlights!good release

| Southern tinged modern rock is a good description. Unfortunately this released sacrificed a little heaviness found on the first two releases. I think it may have been a tilt for radio play. Like I Roll is a good time track, All I'm Dreaming Of is a nice banjo number and the best track is In My Blood, which has a real classic rock sound. It would have been a hit in 1977. BSC are nothing but consistent.
