Good hi-tech/lite AOR album. Dan Huff played on guitars on "Don't wake me up" (writteb by Sembello). John Robinson on drums and Michael Omartain on keyboards. You can expect good musicianship, and a blend of westcoast and lite/keyboard oriented AOR. Similar to Think Out Loud, 2 A.M., Joe Pasquale or Kevin Raleigh. Some tunes remind me of Bob Halligan or Tim Feehan. No fillers here if you like that kind of lite AOR music. Every track has got something to offer. Too bad he released only one album. |

Another Great Hi Tech AOR album with some Westcoast elements. I really enjoy everytime this album sounds in my cd player. I think this album´s style goes in a 2 A.M, BOUNCE THE OCEAN, MICHAEL LEARNS TO ROCK and BOULEVARD(first album) direction. Great Musicianship, compositions that sometimes touches the "Pop" boundaries, A very good vocals by Kenny Rogers Jr. which combines a really beautiful voice with a soft vocal style. All songs are very enjoyable, but absolutely my favorite track is "Talia", an amazing mid tempo ballad, so romantic, so intense and so full of melody... I really love this song!. Very Recommended |

Pleasant Hi-Tech AOR/Lite AOR/Westcoast AOR...in agreement with the good comments above ...it is a shame that Kenny didn't release any more stuff apart from this album because the guy had talent...anyway songs such as "Talia","Don't Wake Me Up","Everything That's You","The Bright Side","Hold Me" & "Love Is Easy"(for me the best cut of the album)surely will make you smile of happiness...recommended...86/100 |
