I just stumbled accross this cd at a used cd store. How the hell did I miss this one back in the day? This is an awesome cd from beginning to end. Grant Tibor has the low end growl of Brett Michaels/Johnny Gioeli/ Jon Bon Jovi and the high end of Sebastian Bach/Stephen Pearcy/Michael Matijevic. The music itself is in the Hardline Catagory. This one won't disappoint any Hard Rockers out there. It's a 10 on a 10 scale.

Full-tilt aural attack. Put a cup under your left ear and a cup under your right ear, cuz there will be plenty of bleeding out of both!! This reminds me of a sleazier Paul Laine, Blue Tears or Kane Roberts. HUGE sound!!! "Love on the Telephone" uses samples brilliantly.

Not a bad bunch of tunes at all....Has the turue 80's rocker sound...hard hitting drums...good riffs....and the true 80 glam rock style singer....worth the few bucks...or the time to get off audiogalaxy...quote the WidoMakr....never more

if this disc was released a few years earlier , they could have been huge ...because the material is more than just ok...listen to their stunning version of 'make a wish' (better than the beau nasty version) or rockers like 'i need a weekend tonite'...very cool band...if you find this disc, buy it.. nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

Definitely rates a ten. These guys really kick. Wore out my first cd years ago and was glad I was able to find another one at a used CD shop. Outstanding vocals (great range) and the riffs are outstanding. (Nobody does that anymore). Originally got the CD when I was stationed in Germany years ago. Kick-Ass stuff.

Sometimes i wonder how could it be ,the country in which has borned hair metal ( U.S.A ) could spit in the face its own creation. These days groups like JESSE STRANGE,DIRTY RHYTHM,BEAU NASTY,CATS IN BOOTS,DIRTY LOOKS,GYPSY ROSE and so many others dying in ignorance but groups like LIMP BIZKIT and MARILYN MANSON are popular.YOU CALLED THIS A PROGRESS? I think, im gonna suicide....

The lead singer is living in his home state of North Dakota, and he still gigs every now and then with a local band. The rest of the band I believe is living in Florida. They did produce a second album but unfortunately its sitting on a shelf somewhere at the Record Label.

Funny you should mention that Whiplash1972. I bought this off eBay from San Francisco just this week. It only cost me 8 cents, which is about 5 pence in English money. Reminded me more of Jailhouse than Firehouse though. Not a bad cd, it has some good tunes on it but it kind of lacks something for me. Still, at 5 pence who gives a shit!!!!

I don't know what to think about this one. On one hand, it's got everything generic and cookie-cutter about the end of that era that launched grunge. On the other hand, EVERY song is really catchy and well performed. I'm leaning toward loving every guilty pleasure of songs like 'Coyote Morning' and 'Love On The Telephone'. 'Weekend Tonight' is awesome as well. 8/10.

Also, why have they ripped off the CD cover from No Sweat. Check it out on the No Sweat page. Released two years before this one it had the three 'wings', the writing in a box and the initials are in the same font......tut tut!!!! Mind you, Down and Dirty is a cool song, great chorus!

Heard the song "Raise a little hell" on a compiltaion tape back in 92 but its taken me to 2003 to finally pick up the whole album. Why it took me so long I dunno, but boy was it worth the wait. Jesse Strange were one of the best of the genre that hit too late just as grunge emerged! Equal parts Warrant,Poison,Pretty Boy Floyd & Danger Danger. A must buy for fans of those bands! 10 outta 10

Great cd that I never gave the time of day to back when it was released. Finally heard it about 6 months ago and loved it. I kind of prefer Beau Nasty's version of "Make A Wish" though i think it's just because that's the one i heard first and played the hell out of it. "Love on the Telephone" kicks some serious ass.

Former guitarist here who played with Paul Trust (drummer for Jesse Strange) before Jesse Strange. I still listen to this CD (workout to it on my iPod). Jesse Strange never had the chance they deserved. Scott is unquestionably one of the most talented guitarists I've heard. Paul graduated from U of M as a Musical Engineering major and from our last conversation (about a year or so ago) is still producing (best drummer I ever played with). Grant and Danny are equally talented.

Slave Raider meets Autograph at Bon Jovi's house. Can really hear the midwest influence on this, like Herricane Alice with a thinner production. Frankly, it sorta moronic for 1992, but still oddly infectious. Sounds like soundtrack fodder for Police Academy 5. I bet these guys put on a great small club/street dance show. Some of the tunes were recorded before, during and after the first record. If you are a JS fan you'll definitely like these songs.

I really love how these guys sound. There are quite a few fillers on this disc, but it never worried me because they sound so damn good. 'Make a wish' is a great tune, 'Living without your love' is another gem of a ballad, as is the beautiful last track, 'The last goodbye'. For me the show belongs to 'Down and dirty' because you're shown here just how awesome the guys sound. Overall, not every track is perfect but they make most sound pretty damn good. Thumbs up for this one.

Just got this disc yesterday from e-bay, never heard them before and a friend of mine told me to give it a shot, and it's quite amazing. First spin, they surely sound like Poison meets Ratt with a little Bon Jovi touch to my ear. The singer is awesome, the ballads are kickin' ass too. Not a single bad song in this disc though I found that their compositions are not very strong, worth 8/10 I guess

I did like the album but the problem seems 2 be that they recorded it in a time when this kind of Glam/Hard Rock sound was fading out by the a "new sound" named grunge...the band is a mix of those great 80's bands such as Danger Danger,Firehouse and Steelheart(strongly the last one mentioned, even in the voice)."Raise A Little Hell","Love On The Telephone"(cool song!)"Weekend Tonight"(happy happy),"Down And Dirty","Dancing For Strangers"(one of the best track of the album if not)and to close a nice ballad and an excellent clisoing song "The Last Goodbye"...the whole album is very round 2 be honest..this is one of those albums that you can spin many times without getting bored. If u see it,grab it and of course if u are into bands such as the one i mentioned.88/100

Bit of an odd name for a band, but when you make hard rockin' hair-metal this good you can call yourself Anal Analogy if you want to and get away with it. At the tail end of commercial hard rock's halcyon days, there was nothing strange about this band's formula: cranking guitars, big production, catchy choruses, and towers of layered backing vocals. What WOULD be strange is finding any late 80s/early 90s hard rock connoseurs that didn't this album.

I remember being unimpressed when I got this album a few years ago and I put it away and forgot about. Lo and behold I was perusing my shelves and I decide to give it a spin tonight. What was wrong with me the first time I listened to this! This is sweet stuff. It amazes me this came out on Epic records in 1992. Pearl Jam were on Epic but how different did this sound (and so much better). There were some neat little samples of films or dialogue on a number of tracks. Back in the days it was ok to note how sexy women are. The lyrics for Dancing for Strangers would get a band metooed these days. This is solid hard rock, extremely well produced. I'm going to be playing it quite a bit this year to make up for lost time. Grade B+
