Good Glam Rock/MHR, "Lookin` For A Lover, Sunset Strip, Mean Mistress, Half-The-Way Man & Backseat Rock`n Roll" fav tracks, 80/100. |

I don't know how anyone can say that this is Good Glam Rock/MHR. The vocalist sounds like he only had like 2 singing lessons and then quit. Why? He can carry a tune but there are several times (alot!) that he's struggling. Though, I've heard worse like that of Iron Cross. Individually, I'm sure that musicians are good, but as a band, they don't sound very professional. They sound like a high school band that is still learning to play collectively. But the worst of all is their lyrics. I know that I don't have to expect alot from a glam band but this is just banality. I hated the lyrics of Danger2's lyrics in Screw It! because of its shallowness but that is still still genius compared to this. If you just want to impress other collectors, then this is the one to own. And let everyone know you have it. But is you have any sense at all, avoid this one! |

After another listen, I'd say this is really, really bad. The thing about this is, they just don`t sound like a professional band. With bad CDs like Criss Cat 1, Warpipes (Holes In the Heavens) and Bogeymen (There is No Such Thing), you know that they are REAL, PROFESSIONAL musicians playing some very bad compositions. With Sunset Strip, it is already a stretch of the imagination to think that they are professionals. Comparable to a bunch of high schoolers playing in a garage with no idea how to write music. |
