If you like your sleaze heavy, loud and abrupt, try this out. These guys sort of reminded me of Life, Sex Death. A band I did not like. And to be honest, I'll pass on these guys too. The songs weren't good enough to rise above the awful vocals and unpleasant sound/nature of the disc... IMO. I wouldn't recommend this to sleaze fans, unless you like Life Sex Death and maybe Sleazy Rose too.

I have to say I like this a bunch, and not to get into an arguement with my mate Geoffers above ... like LSD...no no no! Although I like LSD too the CCD don't remind me of them in the least. Heavy Loud and abrupt is a good description though and that's wjhat I like about them, no frills, no punches pulled hard sleaze, no lipstick and eyeliner for these guys. We Want it All starts slowly to meandering guitar wailings before kicking in with the main riff which I guarantee will blow your ...

(cont) speaker covers across the room.I have to admit Scotty P's vocals may leave many cold but it just works in context of the music to me. Remember Dirty Dan Buck of The Boyzz?like him but after gargling with razor blades. There's nothing pretty about this CD, it sets out it's stall from the off and doesn't vary too much..in this case who cares? If I had managed to get this when it came out it would've made my top 10 of the year. If you like this then also grab Kings of Sleaze the 1st album.

As Nick the Pirate says..this is good sleazy hard rocking let's party music..great riffs and hook's galore...good stuff!!!

That depends on what kind of sleaze you like. I would definitely recommend this to sleaze fans, especially ones like myself who appreciate a little garage and punk with their sleaze. glad to see people still like music with balls.

This reminds me of Two Bit Thief, in that "sleaze metal on speed" way. The vocalist reminds me of Nashville Pussy (first album only), but also Gary Meskil of Pro-Pain. Extremely harsh vocals for Heavy Harmonies, and I imagine that will put a lot of people off. At times on this disc, I feel like they flirt a bit with Wednesday 13-like cheese, and that ain't a good thing, but it's more just a feeling I get than anything overt. The tunes are raw and heavy, but still manage to be catchy in that shouting, fist-pumping way. Overall, though, I like their third, self-titled album best (not in this database for some reason).

The more I listen to this fake-it-till-you-make-it Scandinavian so-called sleaze (just wrote two commentson Crashdiet CD's), the more I feel like Crank County Daredevils make the kind of music I REALLY want to hear. Maybe it's just some bit of wering come looose in my own brain, but I'd rather hear this trashy, uncouth music than some Swedish meatballs slavishly imitating Def Leppard and early Skid Row. CCD sound like the Seattle punk-metal band Zeke playing at normal speed, maybe doing Faster Pussycat covers.
