The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Code CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Code are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

the vocals remind me of bob carlisle. Early allies music eg. ST shoulder to shoulder. The awesome bob carlisle on vocals. but over all this is a great album. 8/10

Not the West Coast wimp out I was half expecting & pretty much in line with Anders Rydholm's previous Grand Illusion outfit although with less of the 'Pomp'. There is that definate Toto 'Kingdom Of Desire' sound on show in places & that is how I would approach this disc. Guitars are excellent throughout as are Sherwood Ball's vocals & for once this has a decent production to the whole thing compared to some of the 'AOR Disasters' of previous years. A couple of fillers aside, a very strong disc.

I feel proud to say that Melodic Rock stands still with its war standard waving high in the wind! Albums like this are the ones that honour this music: loud and screaming fast solos, incredible chorus and multi-atmospheric keys that make this album essential. Not a filler for me.10/10.

A solid album.Well played,a good production and some stirring vocals.

Wow, Im shocked that guys can give this 10/10. The first 3 tracks are all good, hook laden AOR with strong vocals and arrangements - so far so good. Then it all goes wrong! Track 4 is OK but has well dodgy lyrics - the same can be said of 'Alive'...is that arrow and hawk special fx I detect..oh dear! Oh dear! 'Sworn to Silence' just about saves the day, but I find myself skipping tracks 5-10..not good. In fact just scrapes 5/10.

Lennie.Track 5 - How Do We Stay In Love - for me,is the standout track on the cd.But then, I love ballads..

Haec poco me esccribio Anders Rydholm y voy a colocarlo tal cual. parte. No big news with Code. It's hard to make albums these days with all the downloading. We have simply sold to few albums to afford to make a new one. It costs a lot of money and time to do an album. There were 400 000 illegal downloads of the Code album the first month alone on one download site and very few albums sold.

From: ferstyx Date: January 28, 2008 at 16:41
We are very sorry for this but that's the basic situation. We will probably upload one or two new songs to our web site soon. But there's nothing decided yet. I have produced an English singer Steve Overland, from the bands FM, Shadowman, the Ladder. That album will soon be out and it's not so far from the Code style. We used a couple of songs that didn't make it to the Code album.

From: ferstyx Date: January 28, 2008 at 16:43
But there's also a lot of newly written songs too. In April and May, Ola, the guitarist of Code and myself will also tour with the Japanese artist Demon Kogure in Japan. That's the latest news i could tell you about. Una lastima, por favor apoyen mas, si no esta musica que nos gustan tanto morira. Confieso que todavia no lo tengo pero estara en mi proximo pedido de todas maneras.

Only 2 have former members of Grand Illusion is synonymous of quality...well obviously the album is a pretty good one with good catchy songs and with some kind of "modern sound" added too..."The Enemy Within" starts the album pretty much in an acceptable way,a very good song,"Sign Up For Love" is a killer one,Hard AOR feel to it,"In The Shadows" is a highlight,"How Do We Stay In Love" is a beauty of a ballad,"Alive" is cool along with "How Can I Change The World",this one has a nice chorus...is up 2 you 2 get it..as 4 me goes..give it a try!.90/100
