Imagine bands like ROCK CANDY, THEATRE and POUND OF FLESH combined into one super group called MAE WEST. It's loaded with catchy hooks, slick guitars, brilliant vocals and nicely done production. Definitely one to latch on to in my opinion. |

Good 'party rock' disc. IMO it's not quite as catchy and commercial as Attraction or Rock Candy, but it's solid. Reminds me a little of the indie hard rock band Contagious (sp?) or unsigned bands like Shame or Shake City. Overall, it's a nice crisp sound, the songs are fun and the ballad 'Don't ask me why' is worth hearing this alone. Excellent track, solid disc. |
