The album opens up with two big Bon Jovi/Blue Tears-stlyed rockers in 'Let it die' and 'The bitter end'. Both severely kick ass. 'Without me' is then one of 2006's best ballads. Beautiful track. After that we get a few "filler-ish" good time rock n'roll tracks. All pretty cool, but average. The title track is a cool almost rap-rocker. The last full track, 'Rock it up' ends the album on a very high note too - awesome track. Overall, a little patchy but the highlights are excellent. Recommended. |

Although i agree with Geoff on most of his review, the title track does absolutely nothing for me as i hate any sort of rapping and the track Give-R-Hell has that Greenday-ish sound to it (just not my cup of tea). The rest of the songs are excellent rockers. I also cannot let this go without mentioning that the production is very weak sounding, like they forgot to EQ in the highs. Very muddy sound in this day of age, especially the drums. |

Well I agree with you both Geoff & Iron mostly on this. The first 2 songs are awesome. Without is a very good balad. Personally I liked Kick it. Ya its got a touch of a Rap feeling but still ROCKS!. The next 5 songs are average but definetly worth buying |

excellent releasefor MIRROR MIRROR despite the truly weak production that cannot hide such good songs!it s remarkable that these guys cover the whole thing with their style ,as they offer great sleazy rockers like "a little good love","shaken not stirred" ,fine more keyboard driven ones like "let it die","the bitter end" and a nice ballad like "without me"!if you like it oldschool then you ll love that indie |
