| Good solid sleaze hard rock disc. If you like Faster Pussycat mixed with a band like Miss Crazy, check this out. No doubt in my mind the best song off this CD is the excellent ballad, 'Apologize'. Great song, solid disc.

| Tottaly ass kickin' sleazy hard rock!!!just listen the opening track "whatever...." the excellent TESLA thing "apologize"..the kickin'"I'm bad" or "love me bad" and you have a winner for 2009!

| These guys obviously kneel at the altar of Guns n' Roses and (Theatre/Girls/Feelgood-era) Motley Crue. The two guitarists do the Izzy and Slash thing pretty well (check out "Loose Lips," where they ape GnR aping the Stones, like something off of Use Your Illusion) Some catchy tunes and good playing, and no as phony and soulless as Dirty Penny ... but I have the same problem with this band as I do with a lot of similar "young bands playing old music": it just has this inescapable studied feel to it. They've got all the moves down, but they don't always make me believe them. Everybody thinks these guys, and other bands like them, are great now, but I wonder if they really would've stood out in the oversaturated days of, say, 1990.

| Doghouse, me THINKS you over think things. "inescapable studied feel"?, what exactly do you think happens throughout the history of music? Musicians have roots, other musicians they grew up listening to, idolizing and modelling themselves after. "soulless as Dirty Penny"? DP is far from soulless, I can only imagine they must have came to your town and stole all your women? Referencing DP here like that just seems pointed and out of place. As for The Last Vegas, decent stuff. I think the Miss Crazy comparison above is a good one, Miss Crazy being better IMO. Another Lover is probably my favorite track here. There is a The Last Vegas release that is self titled, has 13 tracks including some of the songs here but also some different tracks. If you can find it, it's a decent digipak with one of my favorite tracks being Good Deal For Bad Times.

| Jeff, overthinking? Maybe. Or maybe I'm just not so desperate that I jump on everything that sounds sorta '80's. They just don't have a whole lot of feeling to them. Sure, the songs are okay, but it all seems kind of empty. They sound like an alternative band that decided it would be a hoot if they became a glam-metal band for Halloween. So they dug out Theatre Of Pain and Use Your Illusion to bone up on the right moves. And as for Miss Crazy and especially Dirty Penny ... dude, those bands are total cheese. Kiddies playing dress-up. No soul, just play-acting. See the last line of my previous comment: would any of these bands have stood out to you in 1990? All three bands are varying degrees of forgettable, from "enjoyable while it's playing" (Last Vegas) to just plain embarrassing (Dirty Penny).

| As for why I brought up Dirty Penny in the first place, it's only because they epitomize the worst traits of hair metal, and none of the good ones.

Pretty wild and enthusiastic Sleaze Hard Rock...i had this album since it came out but never had the chance to review it up to now...well,"Whatever Gets You Off" is a kicking a** starter,"I'm Bad"  ,"High Class Trash" wonderful,reminded me of Hanoi Rocks,"Apologize" is a killer ballad ala Cindrella,Tesla to mention some,"Cherry Red" chorus "hey hey hey"!  "Another Lover" sounds like a punk song done by Motley Crue,"Dirty Things You Do" sounds Guns & Roses influenced,"Love Me Bad" rocks and sleazes excellently,one of the most outstanding tracks of the album & "Outta My Mind" closes the album as a highlight...in general lines an album that will please any self respected sleaze/glam/hard rocker 4 sure.91/100
