The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Asphalt Ballet CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Asphalt Ballet are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

As elvincb said on the debut, "Suicide Saloon" had to be one of the best tracks they ever did. How that didn't survive the cut I'll never understand. It was recorded live at the studio with no overdubs so it has a great raw energy.

One of the most underated acts ever.......Live studio cuts...mmmmm!

Asphalt Ballet was a hard working blue collar band in my opinion. Underrated and overlooked. A style of their own. As mentioned above "suicide saloon" was a killer track! Worth the price of admission alone. A nice piece to add to your collection!

Definitely a nice piece! Hard to find but well worth seeking out.Like the earlier comments stated Saloon' should've made it onto their debut (great song)....."you load the bullet, and you start to forget,it all ends the same as russian roulette"...very nice. Also prefered this version of "Taking A Walk" to the one on the album,it sounds alot better without the d*mn horns.Gary Jeffries could belt it out.

"Live in the studio" ... that explains a lot. I was about to say how it sounded like they were playing to about ten people, if that, which, for a real live release wouldn't be so good. The band is tight and Gary sounds great, though. The one odd thing is, he tells the "crowd," "We gon' take y'all back home to Jackson Mississipp-eh" for "Suicide Saloon" ... except the band isn't from Jackson, Mississipp-eh. They were from San Diego. Gary was from Indiana, I think? That bit of contrived stage patter aside, this is a cool little EP.

Decent Ep...the live studio songs are very raw and straight 2 your face!!!..."Blood On The Highway","Unlucky Mr Lucky" & "Taking A Walk" are the ones in my book...78/100
