Great live recording of one of the best White metal bands ever(and they only recorded one album). If you love QUEENRYCHE from the 80s, old CRIMSON GLORY or bands like CULPRIT, HEIR APPARENT...you will love this band. |

Great live recording? NOT! Recon are one of my favorite bands, but this live recording SUCKS! Vett's vocals sound very strained and his voice cracks quite often. I'm not sure if he is just out of practice or not feeling well, but he almost never hits the high notes and is quite often flat. I guess something could be said of the fact that this disc is recorded live without any overdubs, but sometimes I think I'd rather have the overdubs than hear all the mistakes. www.nolifetilmetal.com/recon.htm |
