This is a MUST have for any fan of this site. It is one of those cd's that will stay in every cd player you own for a long while great, great band. Wish they had others!!

From: David Date: July 1, 2001 at 16:20
Hammer, you have just somed this album and band up, couldn't agree with you more

From: Motley Date: July 31, 2001 at 7:44

From: dan Date: August 7, 2001 at 6:58

From: Mark Date: August 13, 2001 at 21:03
This kicks ass! Very hard to find, as the label apparently went bankrupt. Great melodic metal, great production. Why didn't they put out anything else???

From: crusher Date: November 28, 2001 at 1:25
great canadian band...singer has good rock voice...great for a party!!!!!!

From: koogles Date: January 1, 2002 at 15:41
'Rip It Up' reminds me of the glory days of Y&T. 'Taking My Chances' could be an Aerosmith ballad. 'Shake' trespasses onto Motley Crue terrain. There are a lot of different styles at work here and even though that leaves the band with no distinct identity, you don't much mind because everything they do, they do well. Aldo Nova's production makes the whole package very listenable. Too bad these guys were on the caboose of the hair metal train and not somewhere closer to the front.

From: WidoMakr Date: January 22, 2002 at 17:25
What can I say...damn damn good band...hard hitting drums...good string work...kinda has a def leopard sound to it...before they started to suck major league ass (last 2-3 albums)...people trust me...give it a listen...quote the WidoMakr....never more

From: Steve T Date: February 25, 2002 at 9:58
Awesome album. Great songs, playing and production. If you like Skid Row's debut and the tougher sound of Slave To The Grind then this is for you. 10 out of 10.

From: TIM Date: February 27, 2002 at 11:29
These guys are great! Buy this album. I got this for $1.00 at a flea market, but would have gladly payed much more.

From: Don Date: March 4, 2002 at 21:29
A good record on its own, BUT: singer Rick Hughes was in an incredible heavy metal band called Sword before this, but must have decided to sell out and make $$$ by being in a hair band. Too bad, because Sword could have stomped a mudhole into Saints & Sinners. The moment I heard former metal god Hughes sing 'walk that walk for me, that bum bum bumpity grind,' I just about threw up.

From: bloodbreath Date: March 8, 2002 at 21:18
slippin into darkness sounds like skid rows 18 and life great cd

From: Sean Kaufman Date: March 12, 2002 at 15:18
Good commercial hard rock album...Especially the song Frankenstein which is 9 minutes long...shake is a good party tune...but lesson of love is a good slow tune with an uptempo beat...

From: Tony Date: April 19, 2002 at 10:04
Hhhmm I don't know. I bought this cd and if you just love this type of music and will purchase just ANYTHING remotely like it because you love 'hair band' metal so much than by all means get it. You'll dig it because it's ssoo by-the-numbers. For me while I want to dig it it's just so typical of the era and adds nothing new and isn't even a very good copy. But the people here seem to dig it so if you love this stuff regardless of content who cares what I gotta say, go get it.

From: Hammer Date: May 4, 2002 at 23:24
Hammer, You have hit the nail on the head!

From: TheRipper Date: May 21, 2002 at 19:40
Very, Very good 1992 release, and right there with Wildside's 'Under the Influence'. Awesome Fist-Pumpin' Hard Rock, and tight with the help of Aldo Nova and Bon Jovi (Producers of the album) I bet. Great CD!!!

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: June 20, 2002 at 4:37
I used to own this on cassette. Outside of the radio singles, slipping into darkness and frankenstein were the only standouts. Definitely a band in a genre on the edge of demise.

From: David Date: July 1, 2002 at 0:55
Would have killed to see these guys live!

From: IceBluLady Date: September 17, 2002 at 19:33

From: The Fizzy One Date: November 7, 2002 at 17:44
'Rip It Up' does just that, even if they borrow the 'wild, wild, wild' line from Quiet Riot/Slade. Hell of a song!

From: izzy Date: November 21, 2002 at 15:50
DAMN!! what the hell is this!! First thing i hear on this album is awesome guitar riffs!!! very cool!

From: Date: December 24, 2002 at 0:42
I like it but Mr.hughes voice still remember me tunes like children of heaven, evil spell...good cd

From: Claude B. Date: January 1, 2003 at 18:06

From: jarett r. Date: January 19, 2003 at 7:56
is this the saints and sinners john corabi was in?

From: R.O.D. Date: February 13, 2003 at 19:47
I grew up with Rick Hughes in a small town south of Montreal called Saint Bruno. This was the where the beginnings of Sword started. Killer band...Saints and Sinners is quite the change but nevertheless, one good album. A must own...go! Canada! Go!

From: BATman Date: February 18, 2003 at 2:12
Absolutely a masterpiece with no fillers - I have no idea why I`ve heard about them so late. It`s a shame that they didn`t released next albums.

From: JOAO CARLOS Date: February 22, 2003 at 19:38
THIS RECORD IS FABULOUS

From: Daniel Date: May 15, 2003 at 8:20
I used to have this album on cassette but its full of fungus now. I'd just bought this CD on ebay. It really brings back alot of memories to me when I started listening to every track. All the songs are rocking from the first Shake and Rip It Up to the ballad Takin' My Chances and We Belong to the 10 mins epic Frankenstein. Somehow I'd start to pounder why this band didn't make it big. It's worth sending your money and time in looking for this masterpiece. Rock on...

From: JC Frankenstein Date: May 19, 2003 at 21:20
This is the best band in the world...Is the one of best album hard rock of all the time forever and ever.

From: rzambs Date: May 20, 2003 at 1:52
Does anybody know what the guitarist Stephane Dufour is doing these days. Did he ever get into any other groups? Been trying to find something from him since this kickin' CD came out.

From: jeff Date: May 20, 2003 at 20:33
Just try to find a better rock album than this (other than Waysted's Save Your Prayers)!! 11 on a 10 scale!!

From: Livebait Date: May 20, 2003 at 23:32
Now I've been listening to metal for some 15 odd years and I would have to agree with the comments of Don. Some songs on this album (ie; Walk that walk & Wheels of fire) are just too boring and seem like they were included on this album to fill up space. On the contrary however, Rip it Up, when played really loud, would rate as possibly the most catchy opening riff of its genre I've ever heard. It's a massive hook but the album itself is a mixed bag of gems and poo.

From: tomcat Date: May 21, 2003 at 10:55
i was pleasantly surprised when i first heard this album.. especially 'rip it up' rocked... Very good cd

From: thunder Date: May 21, 2003 at 16:45
This CD is wonderful 10/10. Slippin'into darkness is one of the greatest songs - EVER - .

From: Scandinavia Date: June 6, 2003 at 11:06
This album is truly amazing...If you have it you're a lucky man! It doesn't get much better than this...I really wonder why you never heard more about this band...Disappeared in the grunge crap around that time? Well, the song 'Lesson of Love' is my fave on this album...It's that kind of song thats constantly ringing in your ear months after you heard it...

From: freddy de keyze Date: June 6, 2003 at 17:31
Very good and underrated record indeed ! A pity they didn't reach the top. Hey tomcat, we agree on this one. Positive, isn't it ? ! And as always, Koogles has it right again ! And Don has it wrong, Sword was not better at all, only they were heavy metal, this is far more tastefull and more melodic.

From: Motley_69 Date: June 8, 2003 at 18:44
KILLER CD. I found it for like 5 bucks(Canadian) at a used cd here in Vancouver and it rocks. Shake is a Killer track. Anyone in Vancouver area wants it e-mail me at motley_69@hotmail.com.

From: motley Date: June 10, 2003 at 20:53
Amazing amazing amazing cd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic piece of work!!!!!

From: DJ Domino Date: June 21, 2003 at 12:37
A friend of mine let me borrow this CD. I am the Program Director for an 80's-rock based radio station. I added every song to our rotation! I haven't heard anything this good from that era for a long time. It is rare that I love EVERY song on any album - even from my favorite bands. However, this one hit the spot with every tune. I, like so many of you, wish there were more albums from these guys. They seem to have had good 'chemistry'. Aldo Nova's genius is evident as well.

From: Brandon Date: August 7, 2003 at 19:18
This is a fantastic cd! Excellent songs, the standouts being slipping into darkness and the great fist pumping wheels of fire. The singer was origionally in the Canadian Heavy Metal band 'SWORD' which released 2 fantastic albums. If you like Skid Row make sure you pick this one up!

From: Christine Date: December 3, 2003 at 2:24
This CD is amazing - not a bad song on the disc. It's such a shame they released it in 1992 instead of 1987; they could have been huge!

From: TheRipper Date: December 25, 2003 at 22:57
About as close to perfection a band could get here with this release... When I throw this thing in it never siezes to amaze me each time, reminding me of just how good it is, never gets old, and to be honest I like it more and more with each time I listen to it. Everytime there's a song that I may have not liked as much as some others then it settles in, making it a disc that truly has NO weak tracks, not a single one. a 10.

From: mysticaljester Date: January 13, 2004 at 10:20
i have 3 cassettes and 3 cds of saints & sinners....and to truely enjoy this band..you have to really enjoy rock music!!! everyone of their songs ROCKS. there is only a handful of bands that you actually can enjoy every song on a cd...besides Dokken, Aldo Nova...this band stands as one of the best underrated rock bands. its to bad they cane out at the end of the great music era...cuz everything is repetitive crap now...if you seriously love rock music then this cd is a must for your collection.

From: djembe Date: February 4, 2004 at 18:19
hey Rzamb , I hear this guitar master each day at the radio here in Quebec, Canada. He play for a pop singer named Eric lapointe and he made a solo album named Stephane Dufour, you can check it out. Just for your information the singer Rick Hughes sing back vocals in a tv show here in quebec, he had another band before saints and sinners called sword. Quebec Rules!!

From: Peter Date: February 19, 2004 at 15:25
every tracks in this album are KILLERS. 'walk that walk', 'WE BELONG', and 'SLIPPIN INTO DARKNESS' should have all been hits

From: erik Date: February 25, 2004 at 9:54
Been able to get holf of two songs so far. So difficult here in holland to get this kind of music. Have Shake and rup it out. Awesome stuff. This rocks big time. The vocals and guitar are just perfect ! If anyone wants to share please mail me at erikhardam@hetnet.nl

From: MJ (Marla) Date: March 17, 2004 at 0:44
LOVE this thing from start to finish!! Every song on here moves me in one way or another! (even the bump bump bumpity grind..lol) Favorite is probably 'Shake' .... but followed closely by 'Takin' My Chances'.......excellent disc!!! 10/10

From: AOR freaky Date: March 17, 2004 at 4:48
Well, MJ (Marla) : mostly I disagree with you, but on this one I can really follow you. Excellent disc indeed !!!

From: Rockhead Date: March 17, 2004 at 5:08
Totally agree with Marla-a classic slice of 80's style hair rock!!

From: sapa_yachacheq Date: April 9, 2004 at 17:49
I remember hearing Saints n' Sinners on the radio, takin' my chances and We Belong are two killer songs. Amazing to see this album can be purchased online... it's on my list to buy. One of the great new bands of '92 that never had a chance... along with other bands like the Storm, Tall Stories, Hardline, Wild Side, etc.--- grunge killed them all the next year. 1993 was a dang shame for the rock world, this band could have gone places.

From: Blue Charvel Date: April 12, 2004 at 16:24
Freakin' AWESOME stuff this is. Guitar player smokes! It is indeed too bad they didn't release this until the 90's. Timing is everything unfortunately...

From: schenker Date: May 9, 2004 at 20:50
this is a great cd, ii powerful, melodic and fast. the lead guitar is killer of the style like beau nasty, takin my chances is a killer ballad.

From: Rycheage Date: May 16, 2004 at 16:01
You can't go wrong with absolute barnstomers such as 'Wheels Of Fire' plus 'Kiss The Bastards'. Not far behind are the bravado and swagger of 'Shake' and 'Walk That Walk'. One of my favorites is the killer 'Rip It Up', hard as nails, but a chorus of rich vocals. Another is the incredible acoustic fuelled ballad 'Takin My Chances'. I also have to mention the very AOR-ish 'We Belong', mainly because it stands out so much on what is a purists heavy rock CD. Excellent.

From: signal fun Date: June 8, 2004 at 21:44
i wanna now if these gays have any video clip?????????????sorry for my english!!!!!

From: Big Papa K Date: June 14, 2004 at 18:10
Another Skid Row copycat band (file with Sven Gali). Some decent rockers like 'Wheels Of Fire', but one ballad too many and the epic 'Frankenstein' sound as fitting on this album as Steve Perry would be fronting Pearl Jam. 6/10

From: JOSE Date: June 25, 2004 at 21:16
Copy cat of Skid Row?, .....maybe but, I like more Saints & Sinners.

From: rzambs Date: June 26, 2004 at 22:35
Hey djembe, thanks for the info on staphane...been to Quebec a few times...still like my neck o' da woods though, I'm a Novy.

From: Animal Date: July 28, 2004 at 13:38
I absolutely love this album. it has it all! nice harmonies, catchy riffs and practically every song sounded like a sing-a-along. i play air-drums everytime i listen to this ablum in the car (not driving of course!) my favourite guitar riff is in 'rip it up' and my favourite song on the entire album is 'we belong'. the rating is definently right for this album!

From: rick hughes Date: July 31, 2004 at 21:27
thanks for your comments ive read them all im curently working on a new cd to be released later next year.

From: Marla (MJ) Date: July 31, 2004 at 23:15
Hey Rick.....that's great news!! If you pop back in here...MORE info, please??? Is it more in the vein of S&S or more like Sword?? Either way...I'm definitely looking forward to it!

From: David Date: July 31, 2004 at 23:18
Rick, Is it gonna be a long awaited follow up to the awesome debut album or maybe a Rick Hughes solo album??? We would love some more info??

From: sword fan Date: August 2, 2004 at 22:47

From: melo Date: August 7, 2004 at 13:50

I personally love you voice and I'd hate 2 hear it in a linkin park style. cheers from Australia! melodicrock@telstra.com

From: David Date: August 7, 2004 at 14:30
Rick, I couldn't agree with melo more. I don't think you understand Rick how big a cd would be if the songs were similar to Saints & Sinners, they still have a MASSIVE fan base!!

From: rick hughes Date: August 7, 2004 at 16:44
guys guys guys not to worry new material is very melodic got amaging guitar riff and very catchy i dont find it to be similar to linkind park but a couple of my friends that heard some of the material said so bye bye for now p.s hows the weather down under

MAN, I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS DISC. THE ONLY BAD THING IS THAT 1992 THE YEAR IT CAME OUT IN, WAS THE LAST GOOD YEAR FOR ALBUMS LIKE THIS. THEN ALTERNATIVE TOOK OVER COMPLETELY, I WISH THEY WOULD'VE RELEASED A FEW MORE DISCS LIKE THIS. THIS CD IS GREAT FROM START TO FINISH. MY 3 FAVORITE TRACKS ARE 'WALK THAT WALK,' 'TAKIN'MY CHANCES,' AND 'WE BELONG' WHICH I PLAYED FOR MY FRIEND AT HIS WEDDING. STEVE, YOU AND HEATHER DO BELONG TOGETHER, SO THIS SONG IS FOR YOU. BUY IT NOW!

From: Jesse Bradman Date: July 10, 2005 at 4:00
I wanted this band to go on to do another record and realize the potential of this great live band - I think we had a shot at being a great band. there was too much production that ended up hiding the true talent on the first record... I played in so many great bands and this band live was the best band I ever played with... cheers to all that listened and the rest of the members - it's been years since I've seen you... warm regards Jesse Bradman

Hi Guys, I remember seeing you at a bar called 'The Palladium' in Roseville (Detroit) Michigan in 1992. I was with a college radio station and you were gracious enough to let us interview you. At the time Angie' was drumming in place of Jeff and he was incredible. I just wanted to let you know I think you are all very talented and hope to hear new music from you soon. I see that both Rick and Jesse have new projects are the websites up and running yet?

From: VinceK81 Date: September 6, 2005 at 18:19
TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't F.CK with this album! No one does '92 better! (maybe Hardline, Heavy Bones, Warrant, Wildside) RIP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!

From: TheRipper Date: September 7, 2005 at 13:57
Um, that comment woulda been a lot better if Dry Guy didn't perhaps suggest that anyone else can do it better...HE'S DRY!! ;D!! Yeah, '92, a year that has good company, but I still say that this is probably the best of the class of '92, even out of those other killer releases. Simply put, this is without a doubt one of the best MHR albums available... A top ten fav of mine!

From: VinceK81 Date: September 9, 2005 at 13:25
Maybe TheDripper could take that statement and look a little harder. VinceK wasn't suggesting that the other bands DO play it better '92 style, only comparing....maybe warning Saint's faithfuls such as myself and TheDripper that the other releases are hot on the heels of SAINTS. Don't worry, TheDripper had to be taught a few things by VinceK back in the day.......you know, just little things like...EDUCATING HIM ON: Cinderella, Tigertailz, Wildside, just to name a few. YOU'RE DRY DRIPPER!!!!!!

From: TheRipper Date: September 9, 2005 at 14:10
You're dry Vince! Let's see, I knew about Wildside first anyway (Young Gunns, on 'Thunder & Mud', yeah, all me and also who scored who a copy of this *VERY* release and who ignored me when I said how good it was for, O, yeah, *2 DAMN YEARS*?! That is some serious dryness! Does this sound familiar, 'I only like 'Rip It Up' and that's about it'?! Wonder who said that line? Haha, yup, you guessed it! Having a 10 right under your nose like that and neglecting it, don't even get me started!! ;D

From: VinceK81 Date: September 9, 2005 at 16:36
DUDE! TheRipper needs to get LOST!!!!!! Must I start as well?? First off 'Thunder and Mud' was MY find, and YOU borrowed it for over a year!!!! Second, and last: this is coming from an Axl Rose fan....nuff said, probably the worst frontman ever to grace a stadium stage. He shouldn't even be allowed into the Med! Infact, next time I see you, I'm gonna leave a scar over your eye....oh, wait, I already did back in '87! (Awesome)

I don't know this album. Maybe it's good. I only saw 'Walk that walk' on Youtube and this song is groovy and not melodic AOR/Hardrock. I don't like groove stuff a la EXTREME.

From: coverdale14 Date: April 7, 2008 at 20:51
EXTREME WHAT? FIRST OF ALL,LISTEN THE WHOLE ALBUM,AND THEN PUT YOUR COMMENT.

From: shoemaker Date: April 8, 2008 at 5:41

Is it Rick Hughes from SWORD on vocals?

From: coverdale14 Date: April 8, 2008 at 19:43
YES IT IS RICK HUGHES FROM SWORD

From: shoemaker Date: April 9, 2008 at 11:06
Wow, I SHOULD hear the whole album indeed. The man from SWORD has a cool roaring voice. So sad, the album is such rare, like the ATLANTIC Power album. I never saw a bareable prize for them.

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 12, 2008 at 10:56
This is just a total KICK ASS BAND that SHOULD live on forever, PERFECT VOICE, PERFECT GUITARS, sell your house if you have to and buy this ALBUM...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Mhh, Wheels of Fire? The best Song from SWORD I hope they didn't ruined it here. I haven't heard the album so far.

From: RockMan10 Date: June 30, 2008 at 12:35
Shoemaker, Wheels of Fire is my favorite on the disc. If flat out smokes. I used to play it live in the '90s with my band and our following LOVED it. I started this thread on Heavy Harmonies under Hammer (Band's name)and it really makes me happy to see that SO many people enjoyed this disc as much as I did.

From: coverdale14 Date: June 30, 2008 at 21:36
YES ROCKMAN 10, AGREE WITH YOU WHEELS OF FIRE RULES, ALL THE CD KICKS ASS. LONG LIVE TO THE HARD-AOR.

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 25, 2008 at 7:59
This commonly overlooked band is kick arse !!! This has to be one of the most forgotten killer albums of all time. It is hard to disect any flaws in this album. It has great vocals, blazin guitars and a fantastic mix of ballads and pile driving songs. It's to bad they didn't continue on after this. A one album wonder I guess. This is a must havce for metal fans. 95/100

From: Joe_123 Date: September 5, 2008 at 12:32
Anybody has lyrics for this record?

From: rockinhorse Date: January 17, 2009 at 11:58
what a great band i wish they would have put out more music.this is one of my favorite cds.its hard to find a cd where every song is good.this happens to be one of those cds.

From: petermexico Date: April 29, 2009 at 12:58
This is a good album, very similar to Aldo Nova (Blood on the bricks), and Baton Rouge, it's difficult to find, but it's a nice addition if you're into the 80's hard rock bands. Good record for debut canadian band!

From: shoemaker Date: June 6, 2009 at 2:44
Now I own the full album and I can't share the euphoria here. It is a good album, but not more. Only outstanding tracks are WHEELS of FIRE and SLIPPIN'into DARKNESS. The songs sound like outtakes from WINGER and SKID ROW, good but not very inventive. Rick Hughes is a strong Hard Rock singer, but a stronger metalsinger, SWORDs WHEELS OF FIRE left streets of ashes, SAINT n SINNERS only a big trace.

From: shoemaker Date: June 6, 2009 at 2:54
I forgot FRANKENSTEIN this is another highlight.

From: WookieEnthal Date: July 12, 2009 at 0:17
The only bad thing about this album is that Led Zeppelin thing they do at the end of Lesson Of Love...probably because I despise LZ. But other than that if you like Giant and any melodic rock from the early 90's, you have to own this...all the songs are great.

From: rockinhorse Date: May 2, 2010 at 23:52
as good as this band was,it's a shame they only put out one cd.

From: john dragon Date: May 12, 2010 at 17:01
Hey everyone! I 'm new here! I 've been knowing this site for years now but I never had the chance of becoming a member until now. But enough said; this album is brilliant! Quality songs, strong and clear production , really nice guitar work (but all the members are accomplished players) and a party feeling that is missing today...

From: brianrr600 Date: November 2, 2010 at 13:46
a must have 100 out of 100 , perfect !!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 6, 2011 at 18:49
Great album produced by the "maestro" Aldo Nova ...it is packed with some excellent songs and others that without being killer ones surely you'll like too..."Shake","Rip It Up","Takin' My Chances"(nice ballad),"Wheels Of Fire"(good rocking one),"Lesson Of Love"(lovely chorus ),"We Belong"(AORish)& "Slippin' Into Darkness"(AORish too and my personal fave of the album)are highlights by all means...really worth 2 have this release...91/100

From: metalmaniac777 Date: June 8, 2011 at 12:44
If the melodic metal genre awarded sainthood to albums, then this particular album would definitely deserve such a distinction. Much like Skid Row, Wildside, Sven Gali, etc., this CD packs a heavy punch but does so with plenty of commercial polish, serving up ripping guitars, huge hooks, rockin' attitude, anthemic choruses and gang backing vocals. Saying you don't like this CD is sort of the hard rock equivalent of blasphemy and while burning at the stake might be a bit too extreme, a good slap upside the head wouldn't be out of the question.

From: Hysteria87 Date: June 11, 2011 at 15:22
1st class album that even to this day remains in not only my top 10 but also my mp3 player, car etc. Fantastic BIG sound and killer songs/production you cant go wrong with it,just a pity these guys never released anything else Rick Hughes sounds like he was made for this type of material as opposed to the sword stuff from his earlier career,SHAKE,RIP IT UP,WALK THAT WALK what a start to any album!!!! every song after a killer also and then the FRANKENSTEIN,SLIPPIN' INTO DARKNESS end tunes = heaven for me,BRILLIANT 98/100

From: Kralli Date: September 6, 2011 at 3:46
What is the hype about?!! Sure, the production is perfect, the singer has a perfect voice, the guys play very well etc. But many of theese songs are really nothing special. But worst is the lyrics. Sounds like a 15 year old wrote the lyrics. Alot of nonsense, and when they cant come up with any nonsense they go sho-bi-do-ba or na-na-na-hey or something like that.

sensational hair metal release back in 92 by SAINTS AND SINNERS and i really remember buying it from Happening records in Athens Greece as soon as i saw it in front of me!bombastic commercial hard rock music that reminds me of FIREHOUSE,DEF LEPPARD and Y&T,wow!!!!!!!!no need to say much, crank it up!

From: 123charpenay Date: March 6, 2015 at 16:19
better late than never, discover this record only now in 2015.i was very impress by the comments on this site.after several spins i can say honestly that i don t understand the extraordinary enthousiam about this album.yes this record is excellent and i will keep this cd in my collection.but we have three big fillers.track 3 a very very average song.track 9 an instrumental "frankestein" have absoluty no interest.track 10 (more than 7 minutes) the suite of frankestein is only the result of the delirium of the musicians.track 6 and 7 are top class hard u s songs.a real dream for all hard rock lovers of this planet.tracks 1.2 and 5 are real very great hard u s song songs with very catchy choruses.track 8 and 11 are deliciously a o r influenced.8 excellent tracks on 11 are ok for me to add this excellent realise in my collection.so i ve the pleasure to find again jesse bradman the excellent singer of innocent (escape records in the middle of the nineties).

From: edwithmj Date: March 9, 2015 at 7:09
This is a super album with a couple of filler songs but the rest more than makes up for it. Shake and Rip it Up are quite forgettable but Walk That Walk is perfect hard rock and the solo at the end is the icing on the cake. Takin' My Chances is a great semi-ballad; Kiss The Bastards is another hard rocker with pounding rhythms; Lesson of Love has catchy vocals; We Belong is another semi-ballad with wonderful acoustics and vocals while the final track Slippin' Into Darkness always reminds me of 18 and Life by Skid Row both lyrically and musically - it's a great track full stop. Frankenstein does go on a bit but I wouldn't class it as filler at all - just a decent, heavy metal song which obviously is a nod to Hughes' former band, Sword.

From: Rockkido Date: July 1, 2015 at 12:53

An amazing album from an extremely underrated band that deserved so much better. There is not one bad song on here, the whole album smokes! My favourites on this one are "Shake", "Rip it Up", "Kiss the Bastards", "We Belong" and "Frankenstein". A must have for any fan of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal music. I'm gonna go all the way here and give this album a full 100/100.
