|Another timely CD Re-issue & a better demonstration of Southern Rock at it's best is hard to find. Style wise this is more of a cross between Johnny's brothers bands Skynyrd & .38 Special & is definately another Trophy to add to the family cabinet. 'Standing In The Darkness' is another Southern Rock classic that stands proudly along side Skynyrd's 'Freebird', Blackfoot's 'Highway Song', Hatchet's 'Boogie No More' & 'Fall Of The Peacemakers' & Doc Hollidays 'Southern Man'.|

|.... 'Never Too Late', 'Stand Your Ground', 'Hard Luck Story' & the title track are all excellent too, with the cover of Wilson Pickett's '634-5789' being only the slightly weak link. Let's hope that the next 2 releases 'Round 2' & 'Last Of The Wild Ones' also make their deserved CD debuts.|
