Another pretty good Melodic Metal disc rears it's head, so if bands like Cloudscape,Last Tribe or Allen /Lande are your choice, then check this one out.The first 6 tracks are where it's at for me, with 'The Real You' & 'Remember Me' getting the top marks award. The rest is all competently played and produced, without being exactly earth shattering either. Overall an enjoyable 50 odd minutes of your time. Not Magnus Karlsson's finest hour (see Allen/Lande for that) but not at all bad either.

I'd read a few less-than-positive reviews of this one,so was pleasantly surprised. It's superbly played & sounds terrific, but there's just one aspect that leaves this a million miles behind the likes of Leverage or Allen/Lande; the songwriting. No really big hooks/melodies, or catchy choruses. Whereas you can only admire the tight musicianship, without the song-hooks this is never going to be an album that you regularly return to. It's enjoyable,& worth getting IMO,but not essential. 7.5/10.

This was a fun project to work on. Hope there will be a follow-up :-) Janne Stark
