Bobby Ingram kicked ass even way back here.

Finally I got my little greasy hands on this one. Its a superb collection of tracks and Ingram kicks some butt here.

From: koogles Date: January 1, 2002 at 12:07
Pretty impressive one-off featuring Bobby Ingram (ex-Molly Hatchet). Straight-ahead AOR in the vein of Deadringer ("Secret Eyes", "Bring on the Night")or first album Only Child. Only complaint: those ballads are pretty gooey.

From: Brian g. Date: January 2, 2002 at 9:52
This is a great cd. It's too bad they didn't make it as they rightly should have. Bobby Ingram sounds fantastic. Highly recommended if you can find it.

From: JOURNEY Date: January 25, 2003 at 16:02
yes, i agree with Mike!!! it is a masterpiece of aor!!!!

From: freddy de keyze Date: February 20, 2003 at 12:55
Good record indeed, but not a masterpiece. There are some great tracks like 'Turn on the night' and 'The last romantic warrior', but other tracks are missing that something extra. Good, certainly, but not classic ! Well worth having in your collection ! But bands like Dakota, Preview, I-Ten, Bad English, Agent, Boulevard, Beaucoup, Signal, Fortune, Streets etc. are far better AOR !

From: RocknrollPoland Date: June 16, 2003 at 8:58
Great ALbum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

From: tomcc Date: June 26, 2003 at 9:27
www.tomcoerver.com - new CD "Backwater Tales" from ex-China Sky member Tom Coerver. China Sky started as a heavy Southern Rock band and Tom's CD is in that style. Bobby Ingram plays some great guitar and Ron Perry sings his butt off on China Sky, but as some of the other reviews say some of the songs were syrupy glop forced on us after 5 years of trying to sell our style in a market dominated by Bon Jovi etc. Still some good rock there...

It All" puro medio tiempo AOR

From: RocknrollPoland Date: September 24, 2003 at 9:39
That's very great album!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: TheRipper Date: December 1, 2003 at 23:36
Simply put: A CLASSIC. These guys have maybe THEE best late 80's AOR/HR sound that I often look for in my AOR, or at least try to look for. Songs like "Only The Young", "Turn on the Night", "The Glory", "Winner Takes it All", "Some Kind of Miracle", and basically every other song on this disc are fantastic. KILLER STUFF here, get it! NNOOWW!!! 10/10.

From: AOR freaky Date: December 4, 2003 at 4:45
Don't want to call this a classic, but it's a damned good AOR record ! So check it out pronto ! First and last song on the record are the best !

From: aorjocke Date: December 4, 2003 at 5:42
This is really a CLASSIC AOR album! Almost every song are perfect AOR, it can´t get much better than this, just brilliant!!BIG Production and BIG vocals from Ron Perry, I just love the songs "Some Kind of Miracle" and "Winner Takes it All". So if you like pure AOR with a lots of keyboards and catchy refrains you got to have this one!!

From: John T Date: February 6, 2004 at 11:59
Is there any place to get this cd at a reasonable price? Thanks!

From: Ingram Date: May 4, 2004 at 7:19
Not good at all. I understand nothing. I love AOR but what is this ? I think i sell my copy.

From: TIM (2) Date: July 29, 2004 at 6:20
If your passion is for ultra-smooth AOR with tons of keys and plenty of ballads, you'll want to get this. It's one of those rare albums you know can fetch some money on eBay but you just wouldn't consider selling. Sounds a little dated nowadays, but the quality is higher than most AOR albums this century. "The Glory" and "Winner Takes It All" are my faves, but there's not the merest hint of a filler on here. Excellent light AOR. 9/10.

From: Rycheage Date: September 25, 2004 at 12:52
A classy affair from beginning to end. No filler in sight. 'The Glory', 'Some Kind Of Miracle' and 'Winner Takes It All' are some of the slabs of AOR perfection that make up this album. They should've been huge and give Journey and the other AOR acts popular at the time a run for their money. Classy and a must own.

From: Gazza Styx Date: September 25, 2004 at 16:06
Introduced to this by my mate. One of my first ever melodic rock albums and still one my favs. I got loads of "Pop Lovers" into this album by telling them that the track "All the Time" was used in Neighbours. It worked! 10/10. Pure Class.

From: Nick Clarkson Date: October 22, 2004 at 16:37
Gazza - sneaky ... but that's the way to do it hahaha! Yeah great album. I only have it on vinyl though...bought the CD from my local HMV and it jumped all over the 1st two tracks grr! Took it back but they had no replacement so I never got around to getting it on the shiny shiny disc! It is a rockin album and although I don't think it's quite a classic it's still worth seeking out! Isn't Bobbys hair luvvly haha!

From: Eugene Date: October 22, 2004 at 18:18
This is a pretty stupid question but what does AOR stand for anyway?? Someone please tell me!

Or Album-Oriented Rock/Radio, but Adult seems like a better word to me.

From: Geoff Date: March 8, 2005 at 2:28
Good solid melodic rock disc. I don't think this is stunning, but pretty much every track is pretty good and there is no real horse shit, even if the lyrics border on extremely banal from time to time. Still, a good disc and well worth a CDR addition to your collection... if you can even find that!

From: Angel Date: April 18, 2005 at 4:45

Wonderful AOR of the highest calibre is what is on offer here, can't fault this at all, production is silky smooth & most importantly ALL the material is killer stuff. One of those discs that is up there with a certain few in the 'Hallowed Halls' of AOR releases. A shame that this is really difficult to get hold of now (as with a few others - Ebay only probably)& you will have to pay a good few squids for it, but believe me, it will be money well spent!!! Fabulous stuff.

From: Erik Date: April 18, 2005 at 14:29
Jez you are my man. You are spot on again. This is an absolute masterpiece of an album. 9,5/10

From: Lennie Date: May 5, 2005 at 13:44
Not quite a classic but it is bloody good. 'Turn on the Night' and 'Lost in your Love' are class through and through. The production is really smooth and the mix of keys and guitar is just spot on. The vocal is a little strained in places but this is a minor gripe on what is otherwise a must-have..looks tricky to find which is a shame.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 15, 2005 at 16:11
Good AOR release, claro que si un buen disco de AOR con cortes buenos como Winner Takes it All(my favorite), The Glory, Some Kind of Miracle, Lost in Your Love... otro disco de esa epoca de buen degustar que de hecho para todo coleccionista de AOR no puede faltar.

From: ArnoldLancelot Date: May 25, 2005 at 13:43
I don't know if this stunning once in a lifetime record can reach the "Classic" status but to me: it's really truly damn CLOSE!!! It reminds me a bit Refugee's Burning from the inside out or a Jeff Paris with more raw vocals. Well you can see it from yourself from the comparisons guys!! This is the real deal, the music we all love and care. If you don't have it: search it, seek it and buy it!! Essential. (by the way here in south america this one is F%%% hard to find!!)

Pedazo de disco.. sonido, producción.. Mucha mágia tiene este disco, me encanta. Pedazo de baladas: "All the Time" "Lost in Your Love". Desde "Turn of the Night" hasta "Dancing of the Edge" siguen el mismo rumbo aunque justo éste tema(9) no me guste mucho. Gema escondida. 9.5/10

From: lalorock Date: January 18, 2007 at 23:22

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: October 19, 2007 at 18:52
Un decente albun con buenas joyitas de AOR puro, y con ese sonido tan limpio y extraurdinario como lo demuestra en Some kind of Miracle, Only the Young, Winner Takes It All, The Glory, Turn On the Night, Reckless Days, vaya que gran albun de AOR con una melodia uhmmm es expectacular toda una obra creada para los jovenes guerreros que aprecian este genero musical de otro planeta...

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: October 24, 2007 at 21:53
Energía, melodía y dinamismo a raudales. BUEN DISCAZO Si Señor

Wonderful AOR/Melodic Rock album...one of those albums that you have to consider strongly to have it in your collection!!! ...featuring Bobby Ingram (Molly Hatchet)the album displays great tracks such as the very catchy opening "Turn On The Night",solid ones such as "The Glory" & "Some Kind Of Miracles" & the beautiful epic with some southern feel song "The Last Romantic Warrior" just to mention a few...in general lines a very interesting release that will appeal 2 any self respected AOR fan...90/100

From: 123charpenay Date: January 22, 2014 at 13:00
fabulous aor record.tracks 3.4.6.9 are some hits.two superb ballads tracks 5 and 8.the rest is top class aor.track 10 finish this masterpiece with a very long and very beautiful solo of the charismatic bobby ingram (molly hatchet).never find this jewel in japan import.too expensive.each time more than 100 euro.i can add that the singer have a very similar voice to jeff scott soto!!!!!

From: nimzo Date: May 30, 2020 at 18:06
Classic AOR with awesome melodies and chorus, great voice, great guitars and keyboards. All the tracks are superb. Specially "Only The Young", "Winner Takes It All" both of them with fantactic intro, "Turn on the Night", "Some Kind of Miracle" (powerfull great guitars), and two of the best ballads of all of the times: "All the Time" and "Lost in Your Love". 95/100
