| Another melodic cd of FRONTIERS RECORDS, and what can i say, again and again always the same sound I disagree to always share the same musicians, at final all cd´s sound the same. SUNSTORM - KHYMERA -- HARDLINE - TED POLEY I think is a serious error of FRONTIERS, repeat musicians for all projects at final is always the same all the projects

| I think these not-very-supergrouups may unfortunately be the way of the future. You know, bands full of guys whose names you know, but nobody you'd walk across the street to listen to. Incidentally, Joe Lynn Turner might be the grandfather of this type of thing: an overrated journeyman singer who's run out of egomaniac guitar wizards to play with, so now he jumps from one pickup band to the next. And Frontiers is only making it worse. DelVecchio is nothing but a frustrated musician with some money, the way he insists on playing on nearly album his label puts out. But can you blame the musicians? they're all old has-beens and never-weres, and it's easier to collect a paycheck for these "projects" rather than try to break a real band, especially now that the tribute-album "craze" (which no one tuned out to be crazy about) is over. They gotta eat, and rather than flip real burgers, they make the equivalent of AOR fast food.

| yes edukiki,i m totally agree with you about frontiers records.i m very grateful to frontiers for making all these projects since many years.frontiers keep the flame of a o r alive.thanx to frontiers.but all their realise have the same sound ,the same production and often the same musicians.it s boring.a frontiers s record looks like his brother to an other frontiers s realise.the lone difference is the voice of the different singers.for example this winter khymera and find me was out the same day in japan.this is two excellent records but they have exactly the same music,the same sound the lone difference is the voice of the singer.i ve order to cd japan this new sunstorm record.i m waiting an excellent record (i hope) but absoluty nothing new under the sun.no surprise at the horizon.edukiki my friend you can buy closed eyes ;amboaje "all about living".it s a fresh,modern, irresistible and top class spanish a o r.toni amboaje is a real great singer.

| edukiki and 123charpenay: that's what happens when you have the same one or two people producing every single album on the label. I like a lot of the Frontiers projects but I wish they'd hire someone other than del Vecchio or Martensson to head up these "super groups." This one in particular is definitely lacking in comparison to the previous Sunstorm albums, I hate to make such a comparison but when the project is all about throwing a famous voice on a bunch of pre-written songs, it's hard to review it in a vacuum...

| ...that said, AOR has been a pretty derivative genre for a long time now. Are we ever going to get another Vital Signs or Pyromania? Probably not. That said, I'd much rather hear the musicians writing their own material. Listen to the Defiants debut and compare it to this or the latest Poley album, what sounds fresher (regardless of originality)?

| receive finally this record yesterday from cd japan. it s a very great surprise for me cause this record don t sound like a frontiers s record ,and don t sound like the others sunstorm s cd s.this album is oriented guitar ,it s the more hard record from sunstorm.only one a o r song(track 1).this song have a simple and classic choruse.the others songs are some real hard rock songs.jos lynn turner realise a fantastic performance.he stay year after year ,band after band ,project after project,one of the best singer of the hard rock s scene.track 2 and 10 are absoluty exceptional.track 4 and 7 are very hard and excellent.track 8 is a superb ballad.track 5.6.9 and 11 are top class melodic hard rock song.track 3 (a filler) is the little weak point of this album.the japan bonus track 12 is a piano version of "angel eyes",this version have absoluty no interest.nevertheless ,like for drive she said ,i recommand this excellent cd .don t look at the bad reviews and bad comments.buy buy buy!!!!!!!

A bit less stronger than the previous release but still having some goodie ones  JLT is simply a master of the Melodic Hard Rock/AOR field and that's unquestionable...tracks 1,2,4(rocks!),7,9,10 & 11 go into my book of music for sure...87/100

| The Sunstorm project shows what a company (in this case Frontiers) should never do in the rules of economics. The first two discs had songwriting from melodic rock hallowed monsters (including covers and songs that have never been edited) while the later discs have the usual tricolor ghenga that makes chickens laugh. But the idea of changing their name didn't occur to them? Do they think we are all dumb for not realizing that Van Stephenson was better than ADV?
