Very Good AOR/Rock album, otro ganador de los 80's y es que Rick desde su primer album de los 80's marco un estilo aunque el comenzo en la frontera a fines de los 60 pero en los 80's se destapo, este album muy al estilo de Eric Martin y su banda, su estilo va desde AOR Rock cañero Pop Rock y tambien Hard Rock(hablo de todos sus trabajos) Affair of the Heart(temazo otro de los grandes cortes de AOR de siempre), Souls, Living in Oz, Human Touch... larga vida al Gran Rick 8.5/10

I can honestly say that I don't think there are any bad tracks on here, some shine more than others but all are great. If you ever went to a hard rock club over in the U.K. back in the 80's you'll have heard Human Touch .. what a great song followed by the absolutely fantastic Alyson. Souls is another great pop/rock AOR classic. I dunno what it is about Mr Springfield but he just has the knack of writing great tunes which continues to this day (with the exception of his latest cover releaase).

100% spot on Nick. Absolutley immense disc and no filler to be seen - This is definately my fave RS album by a long way. 'Human Touch' through to 'Like Father Like Son' - Fantastic AOR tracks from start to finish. Look at the other guys named on this as well - A session musos wet dream. A better AOR disc than this is definately hard to find. Superb

This album is a pure masterpiece of melodic rock ! Probably one of the best released by RS, if not the best. Impossible to resist to the monstrous "Souls", "Motel Eyes" or "Affair of the Heart"... From the first track to the last, no filler ! A must have for all AOR lovers.

Without a doubt, my favorite from Rick. I went to a couple of the "Living In Oz" tour concerts back in the 80's. The material here is definitely all out melodic rock with killer guitar work and keys. The song writing is outstanding. Get a copy of this one for your collection.

Classic AOR. Un total ganador. Un disco imprescindible para los amantes del AOR clásico. Un hit tras otro.

the best rick springfield s record.this record is a great american variety rock record.tracks 5 and 10 are very average but the other songs are catchy ,varied and very very great."motel eyes" and " livin in oz" are the best songs of the cd.track 7 "tiger by the tail" is a reggae/rock hit.unfortunately no bonus track on the very rare japan import.
