If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Lordi CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Lordi are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

So what do we have here that greets the listener on the new Lordi opus? Well, much the same as before to be honest, razorsharp riffs, excellent songwriting and monster choruses that Mr Alice C would be proud of. As with the previous Lordi discs, there are some excellent songs on here and nothing has really changed at all, so pretty much guaranteed if you like the previous stuff, this will be right up your alley. Then again, if you hated them and especially the vocals before, then this is not going to change your mind either. Yeah, the image sucks I know, but no denying, this band write and perform brilliantly. Love/Hate - you decide, but I know where I stand.

Everything about this band is monstrous: their image is of monsters, their guitar riffs are monstrous, their choruses are monstrous, their backing vocals are monstrous, and their lyrics are monster-themed. Love 'em or hate 'em, (personally, I'm in the former category), Lordi has carved out a narrow, horror-influenced niche of bombastic '80s metal and is content to remain there, in stasis, essentially releasing the same style of album over and over. As on previous efforts, the hooks are hellishly good, but the gruff, slashed-throat-vocals will give some folks a major headache, because just like drinking cheap whiskey and watching donkey shows, they definitely fall into the "acquired taste" category.
