This cd was my first heavy metal/hard rock tape I bought, and it is still the most played... a classic that never gets old. I am trying to find the cd now...

These guys are awesome, check out there web site at www.x-sinner.com

Hey, I have never really listened to Christian music, but I like AC/DC and now I am into Christian and I heard that these guys sound a lot like them...and they are awesome...go get this cd. See ya

From: David Robbins Date: June 12, 2001 at 14:02
I'm glad people still like the music, it was fun creating it!!! Dave.

From: Ian Date: February 20, 2002 at 11:26
These guys are awesome! A lot of people compare them to AC/DC, but that's not really accurate...imagine AC/DC with Eddie Van Halen on guitar, much more melodic and complex songwriting, and better production. These guys are way too talented to be compared to AC/DC! Check 'em out at www.x-sinner.com

From: Kim Date: May 31, 2002 at 1:11
True Ian, I recently stumbled over this cd. Its good. Sure there are some Ąc/Dc`moments in there, but still they have their own sound and style.

From: Greg Date: September 18, 2002 at 11:25
Hey, I have this CD, it rocks, mine has a different cover, anyone know anything about why there is a differnt cover?...thanks!

From: mike buckner Date: November 21, 2002 at 10:41
Hey Dave, Miss ya get in touch somehow. Let's do another, Mike Buckner, it's me

From: Scott Date: February 18, 2003 at 3:42
X-Sinner are usually labeled an AC/DC clone. While the similarities are there they have just as much in common with the likes of Cinderella's Night Songs Krokus' Headhunter & Def Leppard's High & Dry. The only similarity is in the vocals. Robbins has an aggressive Brian Johnson sound. These guys actually put out some high caliber heavy metal with some very catchy vocals. Had songs like Livin' on the Edge been on any Def Leppard album it would have been a huge hit. www.nolifetilmetal/xsinner.htm

From: Decibel Dave Date: May 15, 2003 at 1:00
Scott has pretty much nailed it 100% here. Very high caliber hard rock/metal which is pretty much equal parts AC/DC Back In Black and Def Leppard High N' Dry, with a pinch of Cinderella. The quality is not quite that of Back in Black or High N' Dry, but it isn't very far off either!!! Very highly recommended!

You think there are cool classic metal bands out there? How about you don't? Check this band out!

From: lefay Date: February 12, 2004 at 2:12
I agree with what has been said about this album..great melodic/hard rock/metal album. The first time I heard it I got a Cherry St/Cinderella impression..very good album.

From: lefay Date: February 12, 2004 at 2:14
btw, I too have a different cover for this album Greg..anyone know the story on this.. were imports made with different covers? maybe Dave can respond to this.

From: Impaler Date: February 22, 2004 at 1:22
Ditto to what Scott said above, this is maybe the best White Metal album of all time...it is that good (no hype). Imagine Cinderella playing Def Leppard songs with Stryper lyrics while Brian Johnson sings lead vocals and you get pretty close!

From: shamgar Date: March 6, 2004 at 1:56
This is a great CD! Definite AC/DC vibe here, but much more. David Robbins' vocals are great, a Brian Johnson sound for sure. This album also has a great older Def Leppard sound as well. Great guitar hooks + great vocals = great CD! I will always love this CD. Thank you X-Sinner for creating a great album. PS. - Wherever you are David, thanks for a great vocal job. We miss ya.

Just to clear up the cover situation. The original Pakaderm/Word release had a different cover than above. The cover above was the cover A&M put out for the general market release. Yes, this CD was also released to the general market. From what I understand it did well, but for some reason, the general market release (above cover) is the hardest to find and usually grabs a couple extra bucks on eBay when it appears. Excellent album btw and everyone should own a copy.

From: James Date: April 8, 2004 at 15:45
Total AC/DC sound except for the last song and I would swear it was a Def Leppard track that didn't make it onto Pyromaina

From: MIKE S Date: May 6, 2004 at 17:19
Right on James - the first time I heard "Livin On The Edge" on a compilation CD I thought it WAS Def Leppard! I would guess anyone hearing that track for the 1st time would think likewise - amazingly similar...

From: stryper Date: September 19, 2005 at 17:08
ac/dc all the way.but i like it.great party rock n roll.

From: LS1JAY Date: December 25, 2005 at 15:02
"Livin On The Edge" alone is worth buying this album!

From: demonslayer Date: August 17, 2006 at 1:20
Man, how can you not like this awesome band? With the ex-Kansas members, brothers John and Dino elefante recording and producing this album, it was destined to be top quality both in the studio and on the road. And there is no way AC\DC compares with this band, they would get smoked!!!

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 3, 2008 at 13:16
This is Def Leppard meets AC/DC and one of the best Christian releases out there. I place it right next to Rage of Angels in quality. They do not sound alike but they both absolutely smoke. Believ it or not I like this band BETTER than any AC/DC album. These guys put a complete album together. AC/DC has some great songs but has not put a complete album together in my opinion and I know I will take some flack for saying that. Just a matter of opinion. 97/100

From: hair metal again Date: September 2, 2015 at 7:52
excellent debut by X SINNER under the guidance of Pakaderm recorfs(Elefante bros)!their sound is somewhere between AC/DC,DEF LEPPARD &BRITNY FOX(vocs) and the level of performing is quite high!what s missing is some hits that could push things further!"kick em out","living on the edeg","steppin on toes" and "medicine" are the highlights!good stuff
