X-Sinner originally wanted to merely reissue their classic PEACE TREATY CD from 1991 but met with so much resistance and hassle over the rights that they eventually decided to re-record the entire album from scratch (dropping the power ballad HOLD ON in favor of one new track, FIRE IT UP). The re-takes don't sound radically different from the originals, maybe there's a bit more upfront guitar but that's about it. Still, a nice collector's disc and a taster for their all-NEW album due in '07!

man does this cd rock! take ac/dc and high n dry era def leppard with a singer that sounds like robin mcauley of msg and that's what this sounds like! 9.5/10

excellent release from X SINNER.these are the rerecordings of their 2nd album plus some unreleased material.i agree totally with sluss 528 for their sound:early def leppard,acdc,kix and robin mcauley vocs.excellent hard rockin sound ,very good musicianship and many good songs:"rollin thunder","we need love" and "all i need".a must have

For what it's worth I agree with the above comments as to my ears it sounds like AC/DC or Kix with Def Leppard choruses which is a pretty good recipe.
