Wow, I got a promo(free)copy of this the other day, and I must say that IT SUCKS! I just kept asking myself, 'Why?' I know that this is someone's tiny backyard label and all, but what are these guys thinking? What are ANY of these old hair bands thinking for that matter? I liked the Capitol release back in 1992. Why go back now for B-sides and demo cuts now, that weren't good enough back then? Did the songs age like a fine wine? No. What is the motivation that drives old bands to do this? D-

'Dance-Swing' was more than good enough to have made it.

All of these songs have been kicking around for years on Kazaa, Limewire, and other P2P sharing sites. No need to spend a dime on it. It's ALL out there for free. There are even older glam-like songs from before YOUNG GUNNS that are pretty cool. The 4 grunge songs on this CD are REALLY bad and don't match at all. There is a distinct difference from the good UTI writing styles, and a few of the 1995 bad CD release. It sounds like two different bands. Pick and choose which tunes you like via P2P.

First off, I'm a Wildside fan, have been ever since they came onto the hurting scene and were one of the few bands left standing rockin hard with their heads up (well even before that, I go back to the Youg Gunn days). Secondly, this is a good release by them, some real lost gems on here, perhaps my fav song by them ever is on here, right up there with the UTI material. Lastly, cheers to Steve Rachelle for his part in releasing stuff like this, let's see more of these kind of reissues happening!

I got this on eBay for $2.95, and I must say, it hasn't impressed me. Sonically, it sounds homemade, like a burned CD, and it doesn't translate well in the car system. It was interesting to hear 1 or 2 of the songs that were demos before their debut release, but how many times can you really listen to a demo? Unfortunately, that's what this is. A release of poor quality recordings from the late 80's. Not sure why we needed this, nor what the motovation is in releasing it, but $12 is overpriced.

I am a huge huge Wildside fan. I love the album, and cant say enough good about it. I just wish they would consider a mini tour! Does anyone have any contact info on Drew Hannah?

Hey Sheila, just so ya know, Drew Hannah is 46, lost his hair, and is married now to some unknown porn actress. Doubt he does the groupie thing now. FYI : He's a sleazebag low level porn video amatuer who films/objectifies girls right off the bus from Ohio for a living. WILDSIDE won't be doing any tours soon cause there's no money in it for these guys, let alone NO INTEREST. Where are they going to tour? Salt Lake City for the 600th time? Please. This CD is a gross act to cash in on 87 fans. NO!

Some songs sound pretty awful...but on other songs we have some killers here...Easy As 1,2,3 is a monster song in vein of best Winger tracks...Dance Swing sounds similar to Steelheart...throw away grunge songs and we have very good disc...

The Wasted Years?? Shoulda called it 'The Waste!' That would have been a better title, and more indicative of what this truly is. Nice try guys, now go back to your regular boring jobs. It ain't gonna happen twice in a lifetime at 40 something, if you can even say anything happened the first time around. Beat that LONG dead horse babies!! I think I'd rather listen to Firehouse or Kip Winger. Cheers mates! Do ya wanna get rocked......?

I dunno, but this thing isn't very well produced. I know it's not a real release from a real label, but it doesn't sound good in the car or at home. Why did I buy this? Can't recommend it. This is like ordering a burger, fries and a shake, but only getting served 1 bite of a pre-chewed burger and a couple of stale leftover fries. I feel ripped off. Maybe a Foster's will make me feel better. Try Skid Row's first CD to get what your searching for. That is truly what these guys wished they were.

I think this is a pretty good album. It's not as good as there first album but much better than the self titled album. I don't know why some people are saying the sound quality isn't good, it sounds as good as any other album by any other band. There is also not one grunge song to be found on this. This is well worth buying. I would rate it 8.5/10

This band needed to put out the TWO cds worth of material thats been downloaded/traded around. Suncity Records style with lyrics and decent artwork, Stevie Rachelle loves the scene so its a shame he didnt put out a better cd release for wildisde they deserve better!

Does anybody know the story on the song Crash Diet,it was done by Asphalt Ballet in 1993s Pigs album. Also its supposed to be Guns and Rosees demo.Did Wildside just cover that tune or what. There are a few really good sojngs here like Easy As 1-2-3,Crash Diet,Dance Swing,Killing Machine (sounds a lot like Alice In Chains),Makin You Bleed is redone from the 1st album (it was called just Bleed then)I like the original better but its not bad and I like the live tunes, they were a great Live band.

This is definitely worth a listen.. While their 1st Release (1992 - Under The Influence)was pure Gold...& worthy of Multi-Platinum and their follow up effort (1995 - Wildside) would make most of that audience puke.. this release takes us back to the sound from both albums Of the original tracks (I.E. songs not included on the first two albums) The 1st Six songs after the Sintro..have the same vibe as the 1st album..I recommend....Easy As 1,2,3..Crash Diet & Dance-Swing Making You Bleed & Killing Machine are more in line with their follow up (Grungelike effort)..If that's your cup of Tea.. And the Live song "Dear God" nothing to speak of..

when i listen this record i ve a ton of regret.cause one part of this album is excellent at the same level than the extraordinary "under the influence" tracks 2.3.4.5.6.7.14.the other part is horrible tracks 2.8.9 and 10.the other songs have absoluty no interest.
