Great AC/DC style sleazy hard rock.

From: Gar Date: August 11, 2002 at 19:31
Their singer had a great raunchy voice. "Only the Fool" was a pretty good ballad and the rest of the songs are pretty rockin'. The band is long forgotten, but this CD is worth a listen.

Tim, Do you know anything on this band. Are they still in print? Are they good? Who they sound like?

From: TIM Date: August 18, 2002 at 18:18
I didn't care for them. I sold them on Ebay over a year ago. They are cheap if you want to find out. I don't think their value went up.

como suena este grupo? alguien me lo recomienda?

From: Cojack Date: January 1, 2004 at 20:37
Hank did sing for a Russian band soon after the release of Zero Day, his worl with Rosie preceeded both the Russian project and Nevada beach. he also co-wrote a song with Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister and had limited work on the Transformer's soundtrack amongstothers

here is hanks band bio ..taken directly from his site..it has no mention of him ever fronting a russian band?.. Singer/songwriter Hank Decken has spent most of his life playing music. After spending his early years playing is various bands in New Jersey and New England, Decken took the reins in Rosie, playing more than 300 dates a year and attracting the attention of the country and producer Chris Tsangarides (Ozzy Osbourne, Thin Lizzy, Concrete Blonde). Rosie evolved into Nevada Beach, a hard-h

hitting rock band that released two albums on the Warner Brothers subsidiary, Metal Blade. Nevada Beach's second release, Zero Day, garnered the Headbanger's Ball favorite "Waiting For An Angel," playing for 16 weeks. Nevada Beach continued Rosie's heavy tour schedule, which was joined by extensive radio support and media coverage. The breakup of Nevada Beach led Hank back to his roots in the regional r&b rock band Ring, releasing the album Centrifuge. Most recently, Hank has found himself playi

playing under his own name, surrounded by friends and family in The Hardline: Geoff Safford, Mark Edgerly, Travis Barton, and Scott Shuster. His latest efforts combine reflections of the past with the philosophy and sometimes sardonic perspective of lessons learned.

Thought the Band rocked, heard them for the first time in Gulf War I on a free cassette donated from Red Cross. Especially liked to jam to Action Reaction while flying across desert in "Christine" My BlackHawk of yore!

suenan muy bien, autentico rock angelino

I'm a huge fan of AC/DC and Dirty Looks so I couldn't help but like this album. Brings back memories of 80's AC/DC with tons of energy and despite the band travelling a well-worn path Zero Day has an inspired sound which makes the album that much more enjoyable.

From: Geoff Date: December 27, 2004 at 20:38
Always been a big fan of 'Only the fool' - splendid ballad, and 'Stand' is a cool tune, apart from the annoying lyrical chorus; "Stand where you stand." Always annoyed the shit out of me, but still a cool song. Not a great album, but it has it's moments.

Everyone who likes TKO, War Babies, Dirty Looks, Lostboys should check this one.

Cranking, no frills riff-rock designed to be played loud. The closest comparison--not an exact carbon copy, mind you--would be Dirty Looks. The band has about as much interest in doing something original as Tiger Woods has in monogamy, but they play their chosen style of hard rock quite well, and that's all that really matters. The big guitars, shout-it-out choruses, and gang backing vocals are all given a quality production treatment courtesy of Simon Hanhart (Babylon AD), so you have zero to worry about in the sonics department. Again, nothing particularly special, but at the end of the day, it's got enough going for it to merit a pick up.

From: the rocker Date: January 14, 2012 at 18:48
I would say they have more of a Dirty Looks sound to them rather than AC/DC (more melodic). Rough House is a good rocker, Waiting For An Angel, Back For Blood, Stand, & the ballad Only The Fool is good.

In sound they had a more accentuated Rhino Bucket one at least on their EP...here things went a bit different IMO..."Waiting For An Angel","On Zero Day","Action Reaction" & "Gagged And Bound" my faves...86/100

This is AC/DC slicked up for the hair era and injected with a shot of southern-like swagger as only guys from Jersey can do it. Too rough and raw to be confused with the likes of Warrant or Winger (or to have their kind of success), but with more polish and melody than, say, RHino Bucket or Jackyl. Hank Decken's voice is just good enough to carry a tune, but he'll never be mistaken for the guy from Steelheart. It's a familiar sound, with literally every song has a big gang chorus and a catchy riff. You'd be forgiven for never having heard of Nevada Beach, though, as they just didn't stand out from the herd in 1990. "Waiting For An Angel" got a few spins on Headbanger's Ball, but that was pretty much it. Maybe the best comparison would be Little Caesar, or Junkyard's second CD.
