They've still got a band name that is gayer than Adam Lambert going down on Ryan Seacrest, but when you deliver songs this good, you can call yourself the Snookie Wookie Kitty Wuvvers and get away with it. The sharp, catchy hooks on this release are bigger than the Eiffel Tower and almost all the band's previous glam trappings have evolved into rich melodic hard rock fullness. Their last few releases were good, but this is several notches better, easily on par with the debut and arguably more consistent from start to finish. When all the votes are tallied at the end of 2011, I won't be surprised to see this on many Top Ten lists. |

Still letting this one sink in. First listen was "this is good",but I don't think it is as good as the last one which I liked a lot. |

I've held off as I wanted to make sure, but I LOVE this release. I like/love every Poodles song except "Line Of Fire", but to me, this is their most consistent effort with tracks 5 and 6 being my favorites. These guys are quickly becoming my favorite band. |

Very good, solid album that has grown with subsequent spins. 'Cuts Like A Knife' is still my top moment along with 'As Time Is Passing', although there are a couple of duffers featured aswell. Still not as good as ' Clash Of The Elements' imo, but a strong disc that shows after 4 albums, this band is still going along nicely. |

Incredible band! Four studio releases and each new better than the last one. Killer tracks 1,3,5 and the suberb b-side: 8-13! Album mixes the best parts from Sweet Trade and Clash Of The Elements. It's a mixture that strikes into a surefire top 5 slot of 2011. |

Ummm,i wasn't very happy about this release even though it has some good songs with the typical "homemade formula" that The Poodles has delivered since they started as a band...my faves in here outta be "I Want It All"(catchy),"Cuts Like A Knife","As Time Is Passing"(nice),"Love Is All"(with some edgy U2 feel to it IMO),"Your Time Is Now","Bring Back The Night"(catchy),"Vampire's Call"(catchy)& "Don't Tell Me"...84/100 |
