This band's debut pumped out some oldschool late 80s-style hard rock, but for this sophomore release, what they pumped up was the aggression. While maintaining its melodic foundation, this puppy slams out some heavy guitars that might just threaten to break your stereo speakers. Personally, I think it's an improvement, but not everyone will be down with it. AOR this ain't! Fans of Pretty Maids' harder-edged stuff, however, should be more than happy to break the piggy bank and pick up a copy.

Take out 'Blood on the blade' and every track here is a great heavy rocker! Tommy Newton's production shines through and this has Victory written all over it. If you like it ballsy, very consistent and a high level of quality when it comes to heavy rock, check this one out. Harder than the debut and light on tender moments, but who cares? All the songs are great, but the closers are my faves. The last track is especially great. Better than Shakra and Crystal Ball's last albums, IMO. Great stuff.

Very solid Hard Rock/Melodic Metal from Pump. They are similar to Dokken, Shakra, Crystal Ball and Charing Cross. Excellent vocals and razor sharp guitars. I still like their debut cd a lot better though, because of the 80's style party Hard Rock sound. My fave songs are Revolution On My Mind, Blood On The Blade, Higher, I Can't Deny, Headstrong and Who Made You A Madman. Looking forward to the next cd guys!! Rated 8/10.

One of my favorite releases to come out this year.. Very CLEAN sound! also have the bands first release, which sounds good but imo, just does not compare to how well Breakdown to Breakthrough was brought together. Not a bad song here.. Recommend you pick this up, if you come acrossed it.

Este aún no lo tengo pero escuchando sus samplers me parece muy interesante tenerlo en CD. Tengo su album debut que no aparece por acá, me lo compré pues se notaba bien Hardrock ochentero, y sí que lo es!.. a conseguirlo entonces..

I’ve expected a little more than this cd,typical solid german hard rock with a poor melodick approach but with some catchy riff.a little delusion to me but pretty good anyway.7/10

Pump rules!! 8.5/10
