This is one of my top 5 Westcoast album! It begins with the MEGA song "Danger" witch is more AOR oriented, toghether with "Thru The Eyes Of Love" with nice keys and guitars. Then we have some perfect Westcoast songs like "She Doesn't Mean A Thing To Me","Our Love" and "Let Me Be Yours Tonight" this toghether with some lovely ballads such as "I Don't Want To Lose Your Love" makes this to one of the best in the genre.John has a really great voice too and the production is on the highest level..9/10

Dios Bendito, Q pasada!! Q Temazos, cuanta Melodía, y cuanta Ternura!! DEEP IN THE NIGHT - T transporta directamente a lo mas profundo d la noxe!!!

Buen solo d Saxo! DANGER – es la mas “dura” del disco. TAKE ME BACK – Otro Baladon, el Gran Fuerte del Bueno del JOHN!! Let Me Be Yours Tonight - Me encanta! Kizas aparte del Baladon , es mi Favorita. Suenan asta castañuelas!! Q teclas, q Solo, q Lujo…

2ª Obra Maestra!! Q Pedazo d Musicos/Magos, tan Geniales y tan Alucinantes Similar en estilo y epoca a Genialidades como: Airplay, Steve Kipner, David Roberts, Dwayne Ford...etc etc 9 d 10!!

Strong and classy westcoast AOR album. Nice keyboards and good guitars as well. The album doesn't sound dated today largely due to clean and professional production (how can something sound bad if Richie Zito has participated in recording). Sometimes it's more west-coastish and sometimes more AORish, what makes this album more likable to melodic rock lovers. David Roberts meets David Pack and Jack Wagner.

From: Carlos A. Date: June 8, 2007 at 22:56

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 9, 2007 at 9:55

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 9, 2007 at 10:01

IMHO this is not his best work, but a great album however. The debut for me is THE DEFINITIVE 1981 A.O.R. ALBUM(yes, better than Escape)to have at any cost, like David Roberts All dressed up in 1982 and I-Ten's Taking a cold look in 1983.Please insert the other 2 '80s albums immediately!!!!

Well i have no other choice than agree with all. Great Top Westcoast, one of the best albums of the genre. I think JOHN O´BANION style is very influenced by AIRPLAY, CHICAGO, AMBROSIA, TOTO and i can hear a lot of melodies in a very AIR SUPPLY vein. Smooth soft AOR with a very laidback style and beautiful songs like "She Doesn´t Mean a Thing" and "I Don´t Want To Loose Your Love". A classic!

From: aorfan700 Date: October 22, 2008 at 15:49
The debut is my fav. I don't like the song 'She doesn't Mean a thing to me' one bit. Not saying it's not good. I just really don't like it. Otherwise it's pretty much as good as his debut album.

Pleasant Lite AOR/Westcoast ala David Roberts,Al Denson or Brent Lamb...good songs typical of the genre such as "Undercover Love" & "Our Love" that happens to be my faves of the record but in general lines the album offers nice easy listening songs...recommended...85/100

From: Macca Date: July 12, 2022 at 11:15
Japanese remastered re releases of all 3 albums within the last few years. Nothing more to add..... yeah its Jack Wagner David Roberts territory..... but as usual ..its the clean crisp analogue production, back in the day that makes this album brilliant....never heard now due to brick wall compression
