Rock Melódico de gran factura y con Ted Poley no hay pierde, aunque yo lo hubiera dejado solo en 10 temas y sin reprise. "Waiting Line" "What If She Knew" "If You Can't Change Your Heart" y "Where It Ends" mis Súper-Favoritas. "Why Can't We Pretend That It's Over?" a lo Goo Goo Dolls, "More Than Goodbye" balada en plan Semi-Acústico, y la rifferita "Will Ya" buenas. La 6 y 9 bajan el nivel del album en mi opinión. Buena producción y muy recomendable disco. 8.9/10

not close to the excellent colateral damage cd. this is ted light and just does not rock like colateral. evan the great vic rivera can not save this weak effort. maybe the new d2 can rock!! 6.5/10 sluss ouuuuuuuuuuuut!

This is sensational. The only drawback, as above, will be that it's quite light. But when the songs are this amazing that is completely insignificant. 'Luv on me' and 'Life keeps spinning' are bad fillers, and 'Why can't we pretend' is close too... but the rest? Amazing. 'If I can't change your heart' is probably my fave, but 'Where it ends', 'Will ya', 'Killing time', 'Going blind'... every other song is awesome. This may just be the best MHR album of the year. Excellent stuff.

This is, as far as I'm concerned, a better album than Collateral Damage (as good as that was). The material is just sooooo strong. The opening seven tracks are pure magic, with "What If She Knew", "If I Can't Change Your Heart" and "Going Blind" being the pick of the bunch for me. This album is simply further proof that when Ted's voice is used on quality material, he's up there with the best of 'em. Keep rockin' Teddy! AOR album of 2007 for me so far. Excellent!

I heard one song. Luv on me. Sooooooooooooooo good. Geoff cant understand how you can kill that a filler. Well guess then the rest must be overwhelming My copy should arrive next week. Together with the new album of Soul Doctor

Pretty much a continuation of 'Collateral Damage'..perhaps slightly lighter. Again sheer class is shining through on these tracks. Best part of the album is the winning combo of 'Smile' followed by the great 'What If She Knew' - 2 picks for 07! Also the great ballad 'Where It Ends' is a stand out. Im not that keen on track 7 - its good but i keep thinking its going to explode into a mammoth chorus which just never comes? The reprise of this song a little pointless as well? Overall though great

GOOD CD 81/100 soft HARD ROCK or US AOR even if this one do not match the great "collateral damage" ,it's a good solid release with some upS('will ya''waiting line'&'smile') and downS ('Why Can't We Pretend That Its Over?'), but overall this a nice waiting until the new DANGER DANGER If you are a fan of his previous works you'll enjoy for sure ! BUY IT

WAY overrated imo ! "Collateral Damage" was a lot better as far as I am concerned. Here I hear mostly fillers with boring tunes and a Ted Poley, who doesn't hit the notes. Quite a disappointment for me.

...'If I can't change your heart, let me blow your mind'... ...the more I play it...the more I like it...the more I like it...the more I play...

Not quite as good as Collateral Damage but still a very, very good spin. Ted, keep up the hard work. It's very noticable.

Ummmmm..modern rock sound injected ...i thought that after that amazing debut album good old Ted was gonna follow the same formula but no..he bet for a more "actual" sound and well the results did not satisfy me at all...a matter of tastes but wait..this ain't a complete waste..song good moments obviously ..."Waiting Line","Smile"(both nice tunes),"More Than Goodbye"(good mid tempo ballad),"If You Can't Change Your Heart(Then Let Me Blow Your Mind)"(is an excellent "old style" AOR song ),"Why Can't Be Pretend That It's Over?" & "Will Ya" (catchy ones)...the reprise song(#12) is a beauty piano version...Ted's voice's similar at times to Joe Elliot/Bon Jovi but conserving his own identity...88/100..could have been a better album IMHO...

Nobody say nothing about the Japanese Bonus Track huh!!? haha well, "BACK IN TIME" fits perfectly with my Super Favorite songs here! Great Bonus and Great CD. I'm gonna see to TED POLEY in my country today! So, meet and greet is guaranteed, see ya at night TED!
