| it s very strange cause i m a big fan of danger danger.i love this band,but all the ted poley s solo s record s or all his different projects (melodica for example) never hooked me.here it s exactly the same situation.this realise is not bad.it s a great a o r album but not more.like always something miss for make an excellent record in the vein of danger danger.it s well produced ,well singing very easy to listen but.... one more time ted poley deliver an a o r very hollow (i m not sure of the english word but i think you understand)without emotion.one more time for me it s a deception even if i m very happy that frontiers records give chance to a brilliant artist like ted poley.

| jajaja 123 charpenay, i am with you again is increíble Danger Danger is my number one favourite group but ted poley solitary don´t have any decent cd, the quallity of musicians of danger danger is infinite You can read my critic of sunstorm, here i say the same, please change musicians Ted poley great Singer, but musicians never like danger danger

| Haha, MelodickRock dot com loves EVERYTHING, their ratings (especially on Frontiers releases) tend to be a little ridiculous. This is a decent album, and anything written by the Martin brothers will be, but it sounds like just that: a collection of songs rather than a cohesive effort. The production is massive, it's easily the highlight here IMO, sounds great no matter how loud you turn it up. Fun, catchy AOR, not much else to be expected but I'd give it a rating in the low 80s.

| Ted Poley is Ted Poley...and all his solo albums are unique in their own way, they all are great albums at various levels and types which flow in and out of the AOR/Melodic Rock/Rock genre. They all seem to intertwine in some fashion or another...however Ted ensures that his melodies are there in some aspect or another to produce a quality album for fans to enjoy. With that being said, is "Beyond the Fade" perfect? No. Is terrible? Far from it. But I will say it is a quality record...just not the perfect one we hope that Ted will give us. Its not D2 - which is a good thing because he has always tried to break that D2 mold he is known for. With Alessandro Del Vecchio (Frontiers fame) at the helm in writing and production and on Frontiers label here, this album suffers the curse of being an Alessandro Del Vecchio/Frontiers record: Mix and production = inconsistent, and heavily ballad influenced by Alessandro Del Vecchio. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #3, 6, 7, 9, 10. MY RATING: 80/100
