Heavy, fast and just the way I like it. |
From: Brian | Date: May 3, 2001 at 23:43 |
You gotta love it! Heavy, melodic, fast as all hell! One minute you're being serenaded by a commercial hard rock song...the next your being beaten over the head with a giant HEAVY METAL HAMMER (Ken Hammer to be precise!) This band just kicks total ass from first track till last! Buy it now or suffer forever!!!! TYTAN3k@aol.com |

it's ok, they have some commercial pop songs, and other very heavy! An strange group! The only think don't like is the fact that the ballads are in the pop way...not power ballads! |

Well......not their best cd.A bit disappointed like when I heard Scream. But TORTURED SPIRIT is the heaviest song Ive heard from them ever. Stop playing with the knobbs on the mixer, make a clean sound.HATE EXPERIMENTS!!!!!!Looking 4ward to listen to your new cd in Marts! |

Great release again. This band really is one of the greatest of all time in melodic metal. Incredible songs are "Until it dies", "Tortures spirit", "Violent tribe", "They´re all alike" and "Clay" |

No cant this cd in my head.the least played cd of all with MAIDS. I love PLANET PANIC. Now thats MAIDS as I know them. Playing God and Who's gonna change fuckin kick ass. Great to hear they are back. Best cd since Spooked |

This CD is heavy but for some reason I have a hard time getting into it. The tracks are not bad but nothing seems to really stand out. |

This was the first full cd I had heard from Pretty Maids after only hearing the song Future World on a compilation in my cd collection. I really liked this cd for the most part. They seem to stray around a little with different styles, but they all blend together well. A friend gave me this to listen to first and then all the rest of the PM collection. I was blown away. I've since scoured eBay for all the originals from these guys. Well worth the time and money! Highly recommended band! |

As they grow older they play better! Amazing work a MUST for all rockers out there |
From: Geoff | Date: November 23, 2004 at 5:08 |
A bit more of a mixed bag rather than the obvious split between melodic gems and fast paced heavy metal tracks. This one varies a bit, and 'Tortured spirit' is a sensation, 'Clay' and 'For once in your life' are great commercial rockers, 'Until it dies' and 'Time awaits for no one' are great ones too. The show, however, without a doubt delongs to one of PM's finest moments in the sensational 'Wouldn't miss you'. One of my faves ever. Another killer CD. |

Without a doubt a highly UNDERRATED album!! I remember having a hard time getting into this one at first but today it sticks...It's a clear 9,5/10 for me with only one "bad" track (No. 11) - The first 7 songs are of such quality that it really doesn't matter. This is how it's done people!! |

Again, these guys have not disappointed me. This is yet another great release by these guys. Listening to this one reminds me of why I love this band. Awesome heavy metal! |

would'nt miss you is one of or the best pretty maids song. |

AOR freaks should recognize the real thing in Clay! Just listen to the lyrics...Have you ever read lines like that? It's like the absolute love lyrics ever written! Carpe Diem is in the anthemic vein PM delivered so many great songs in the past. Until it dies is a dark masterpiece. The rest is good but not good enough. The album actually did disappoint me a little. It's really good, but I want better cause we're talking about my favorite band, hehe! 8/10 |
