"Hell On High Heels" is one of the best songs in the world! Why do we find heavy metal songs with a fantastic hard rock song like that?

From: Asd Date: March 2, 2002 at 5:17
Another solid release, incredible songs are: "Snakes in eden" (incredible riff from riffmaster Ken Hammer), "When the angels cry", "Destination paradise"

This cd was sooooooooooooooo underrated. Its a great cd, and a must in every metal collection.

From: reebboy Date: February 26, 2003 at 6:06
This is one of their best CD's but I'm not to sure how well it did. All the songs are excellent and catchy. No fillers.

Why in the hell is this band so under rated, well in the States anyway? They have a mixture of different styles which is hard to find and they do it so well.

From: RR-Finland Date: August 27, 2003 at 8:10
This is worth listening but not worth overlistening. Pretty much same stuff like "Spooked" was. Not bad, but somthing doesn´t fit my ear.

From: Scandinavia Date: December 29, 2003 at 9:33
Produced by the boys themselves...It's understandable why this one never rose to stardom!

A fantastic album with gigantic songs. But the album- artwork is just s..t! With the right artwork this one could have sold much more copies.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 27, 2004 at 22:57
"Hell On High Heels" might be the best aor song of 1999. Too bad very little of this album follows that track as we get the usual bag of mixed heavy rockers with good lighter tracks. 6/10

From: Geoff Date: November 23, 2004 at 5:04
'Hell on high heels' is one of the best melodic hard rock songs ever, 'With these eyes' is a masterpeice in songwriting history, and 'When the angels cry' is nothing short of a marvel. 'Loveshine' is a great commercial rocker and once again, the metal tracks are the lesser ones but each one a very good peice of heavy metal. Another killer CD from a killer band.

Overall this one had too many fillers plus the production is too "normal" compared to their brilliantly produced SPOOKED opus...

I think Pretty Maids one of the best hard rock/class melodick bands in the last 20 years, everyone should be agree with me....(I hope!ahahaha!)

From: Muddley Date: February 8, 2005 at 17:30
If Dan ever had a band in mind when he made Heavyharmonies, I would like THAT to be Pretty Maids. Its a band which has released a load of albums, but none have been bad, They have stuck to their guns all the way, and have never beed a 'sell out' band. And Ronnie Atkins is the best singer in the genre ever..........Period.

Ronnie Atkins is the absolute metal throat! Pretty Maids is the most underrated band in the world, they should be rock icons like Def Leppard, Kiss, Maiden, Metallica etc. This album is worth 100/100 from track 2 up to 7. Tracks 8 till 11 just dont reach the same level...Hell on high heels is an AOR masterpiece, When the angels cry is a hard 'n' heavy semi-ballad miracle and With these eyes must be one of the best ballads of the 90's. And why don't you people like heavy metal anthems like Only in America or Destination Paradise?????? I can't understand people saying ''PM are good at AOR stuff, but their heavy songs are fillers''. Just couldn't be more wrong

From: hair metal again Date: October 6, 2010 at 1:54
killer release by this great band!this is a classic PRETTY MAIDS release with great commercial songs like "hell on high heels","loveshine" many fast rockers like "scent of my pray","destination paradise" and beatiful ballad like "with these eyes".surely a must have
