This is a great album that go absolutely no recognition. The first 6 songs are classics but hardly anyone's ever heard them. This 1 is a must own for any Kim Mitchell fans.

With a brilliant back catologue behind him, Kim Mitchell returns with yet another top quality album (how he does it i don't know),choc full of excellent songs. 'Worlds Such A Wonder' kicks things off typical Mitchell rock mode, whilst 'Pure As Gold' & 'Dreamer' are as good a songs as he has ever written. The rest are all excellent aswell with 'America' and 'Some Folks' being particular highlights of an album with very few (if any) lows.

I have been a Kim Mitchell fan for many years, I must say that Pure as Gold is one of his best ballots. It would be amazing to see Kim Mitchell put out another new album. This album is truly a must have for all his fans. Kuddos and thank you for all the excellent memories. And last but not least thank you to Peter Fredette for the amazing energy and incredible voice that you have contributed to this band!!!

I forgot to mention this is not the only excellent album that this band has released. If you loved this one you would also enjoy Rockland. Rockland also has an amazing ballot called Expedition Sailor. This song brings back many memories for me personally, at the time I was going through alot personally and Expedition Sailor helped me through the hard times believe it or not. Rockland also has many wicked songs as well. Thanks again for the great music!!!
