Temporary Message Board Closure
The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that
would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling
to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different
platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content
(posts, user profiles, etc.).
However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere
from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated.
While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some
long-term savings.
The current message board will be closed down at some point this
Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are
reading this), will NOT be affected.

CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Naked Beggars are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| **********************Para que están los hermanos sino es para ayudarse, apoyarse y compartir buenas vivencias juntos? Este es el caso de Naked Beggars donde el hermanito Eric Brittingham (bajista de Cinderella) se une a la banda de su hermosa hermanita Inga, lógicamente con una hermanita tan linda nadie se resistiría armar una banda. Dejemos de lado favoritismos y conveniencias, y reconozcamos que Inga tiene una excelente voz, tal vez dentro del timbre de Chrissie Hynde.

| El sonido es bien rockero, no llega a ser muy metálico, aunque lógicamente está repleto de guitarras eléctricas. Los temas son compuestos por Inga Birttingham y el guitarrista del combo Kris Casamento, y se ve reflejado el buen gusto en canciones como “No More”. Cabe destacar que en el tema “Bitch” participa Jeff La Bar, guitarrista de Cinderella, y la formación se completa con David Holladay en guitarra y Dustin Carpenter en batería.

| Dentro de poco ya sale el segundo disco de NB titulado “Spit It Out” donde según entiendo Jeff tiene un papel más protagónico tras las 6 cuerdas. Si te gusta Naked Beggars, te va a gustar Alannah Myles, Bangles y Chrisy Steele.**************************************** Lucas H Gordon
