This a really a good disc. I prefer this over the first but teh first was very good as well. This one has a more professional sound to it and the guitars have a harder and bigger sound to them. Perhaps it is the new lineup of the band. Livin without you is definetly the killer track on this album but it is a very solid effort from start to finish. I also like "Make you Mine" quite a bit. There just are not many bands left out there playing this kind of staight ahead metal. If you like guitar driven metal this album is for you.85/100 |

Great album, but nowhere near as many instant hooks on this one. Initial listens suggest it will be a grower, but certainly not on par with the debut at the moment! |

Man this band is great. Whether it's as good as the debut or not doesn't matter to me - all you need to know is that they both kick ass. I'm not crazy about the Cinderella/Britny Fox style vocals, but they sound a little better on this disc, and to be honest when the songs are this good it doesn't matter. Killer hard rock riffs with good catchy choruses... great hard rock CD. Recommended. |

The music is pretty good, and I like the heavier direction from the first album. The singer tries hard to sound like Tom Keifer, but he reminds me more of a whiny Vince Neil or Jack Russell. The lyrics are awful, though. Shit like, "You left me here to die, you left me alone to cry," and "Got the lotion, to make everything so right." Horrid! And what's with the Dimmu Borgir look? |
