Retrospect Records has announced the much-awaited re-issue of Manila Thrills 'Tomorrow's Waiting'. Originally released in 1990 on cassette only, this melodic hard rock collector's edition has been digitally remastered for cd and beefed up with an addition of FOUR previously unreleased bonus tracks. Manila Thrills features a powerful vocal performance, stunning razor-sharp axework , and hi-octane hooks that signify the pinnacle of 80s Hair Metal / Hard Rock. After hearing this gem on cassette I was very excited for the reissue on CD. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. This band rocks. Though hard to put a finger on a 'sounds like' band, you can definetly hear some Dokken and Black N'Blue. The vocals are incredible, and the guitars and drums will blow you away. The 4 bonus tracks make this one a 'buy or die' necessity. Hard to pick a favorite track, but some stand out songs are: 'The Long Wait' 'Inhibitions' 'Just gotta Go' 'Simple Pleasures'..

and the new track 'Hold On To Tomorrow'. Completely remastered by vocalist Michael Beck, and distributed by Retrospect Records this is THE reissue to get. I'm still amazed at the quality of these songs. Hard to believe the original was released way back in 1990. Do yourself a favor, and get this disc. You will not be dissapointed. Michael's awesome vocals can also be heard on the 'Scary Hairy - Intent To Deliver' CD available at http://www.karmarecordsgroup.com/

Good Hard Rock on this release. Favorite songs are Gypsy Blood, Inhibition, Simple Pleasures and I'll Be The Light. There are a couple of fillers but over all a cd you should have in your collection. Rated 7/10.

Definitely the best retrospect release that I've heard yet, some of the best hard rock/hair metal I've ever heard, well worth picking up if you're into the genre....

Good band, decent i'd say rather than good to be honest...moments???..."Gypsy Blood","The Long Wait","Inhibitions"(sounds like Queensryche a 100% even in the way of singing)& "Just Gotta Go"...85/100
