The last track on the album (On The Run) is one of the best ballads ever!

I rate this the band's best effort by far. I like the others, but this time around even with the more commercial AOR sound and moody feel, the band have written the best collection of songs in their career so far. I hope this album gets the attention it deserves and those who have yet to discover the band will take my recommendation to check it out. Very very good.

great cd.killer band.mr shotton has it all.he can do the hard rock thing.or a ballad or two.what an under rated band.

This was the first time they tried to match their debut IMO. This is a great, solid and very consistent melodic rock release. Not as ballsy as the original, but the first 4 songs will have you forgetting that soon enough. 'Tell it to me', the lovely 'Anything for my baby' and 'Only love' ensure that it was not just a fluke. Great melodic rock release and by far their 2nd best CD!!!

On the run is a cracking ballad, love how soothing it is. That and "Back in Love again" are the only two to survive the years and make it onto the old iPod. Still the sound takes me back that sweet british summer when Anna K still graced Wimbledon....

More AOR approach on this one ( whit a little def leppard touch ). TELL IT TO ME, DEMAGE IS DONE, SHOULD HAVE...are my favorites.

There was a lot of hoora on thsi one coming out and maybe that it why I am left dissapointed. I expected more from this album with all the aclaim it received...can't trust those marketing execs I guess. I really liked the first release but this one never found its place with me. I found there were not enough good songs to warrant this having a permanent place in my collection. 74/100

inside the booklett the three members of von groove looks like very sad,it seems they bring all the misery of the world on their shoulders.they are lucky cause their job is their passion.and what passion ,playing the more beautiful music of the world.so guys wake up please be happy.i come back to the music.on this record von groove play a o r (without keyboards),they plays a cool and soft hard rock.forget track 5 and 9 (two fillers) the rest is really great with superb and catchy choruses.track 3 "i saw the light" is my fav track, this song could be played on radio twenty times by day.no problem.the japan import is recommanded cause there is two bonus tracks.track 11 "april may" is a beautiful ballad and track 12 "calling the world" is a brilliant hard rock song.
