If you notice that a particular Von Groove CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Von Groove are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

For me this album is a classic melodic hard rock album that everyone who listens hard rock should have. Great songs two nights in tokyo, chameleon, what is love simply amazing. The band has also a modern touch with those electric vocals but still they give us an 80s sounding hard rock album. The sound is somewhere between whitesnake and harem scarem. I recommend it for all the fans of the canadian melodic hard rock school.

Never understood if this one it was released also in Europe with another artwork and title,it's not the first time I think, anyone can help me?

I blagged both versions, I think it was a quite while after Mission Man came out before Chameleon surfaced over in Europe. Essentially the same album but with a slightly different tracklisting. I guess they just tweaked it for what they perceieved as a stronger release in Chameleon. Who knows the mysteries of record companies/bands!

A station in Bountiful Utah called KRock played the song Chameleon, I heard that shit and made a mad dash to the music shop to try and figure out how I was going to get this cd(the only way to do it pre-internet)well the only thing I could find was the $55 Japanese Import called Mission Man, and after being fucked in the ass by Rainmaker, I was highly gunshy, well to say the most, I was not angry I spent so much on it, Tonight We Rock N Roll really got to me for whatever reason, production was big and thick, unlike Rainmaker, and all in all I have to say the good songs on this, surpass the good songs on the debut, a very consistent album to say the most, and one I dont forget when discussing albums with excellent engineering and production value, and not to mention a very good mastering job to boot, an all around well done jab to fall back into line with a genre that they had fucked in the ass with their sophomore waste of ear aids, my opine, this is VG's best album, I love it!

exceptionnal von groove realise (if we forgot the two fillers tracks 8 and 9).many hits in this record(track 2and 4 for example).this album is plenty of catchy songs who hooked you immediatly.i can add that this jewel is varied.track 7 and 12 are "special" cause they sound very modern, but musically it s very strong and the choruses are of the best von groove records with the first album.
