Glam rock with goth overtones. Some really good tracks (my favourite being "Goodbye") but also a few fillers. Overall though, I love this one! |

HI again! Just to say you this is not the real guttersluts, you need to find their debut album "Beg, Borrow & steal" from 1995 is super highly recommended and sounds as a trashy glammy punk band reminds me a lot the great HEART THROB MOB; in fact (the drummer from HTB plays drums here )even the Alleycat Scratch, you should be consider it like a glam classic, talking about the first one not this "screaming at .." is in gothic vein not bad but nothing to do with their fantastic glamrock debut |

Actually, Traci Michaels (drummer for Heart Throb Mob) did NOT play on "Beg Borrow Steal". He played on the bands ep before this (sorry- cant remember the name of the ep off the top of my head). But I will agree that the previous album is more glam than this one. |

Hey glamjunkie! is true he doesn't play I don't know why I told this i think I saw days ago this album on ebay and the seller told this. i think He plays with the Peppermint Creeps but I'm not sure because I havent this. The guttersluts were very similar to the H.T. Mob but this last one for me more better H.T.Mob and Alleycat scratch they were the real last glam band ever from a period that never never will be back! it¡s sad but it's the whole whole truth! Bye from Spain! |

pretty good release for GUTTERSLUTS that could be better with a better production and if those few goth experiments were totally missing !in fact the majority of the songs are decent hard rockers like "kids are here","charity","overrated" ,"egomaniac" and ballads like "goodbye" and "shine"!the mid 90 s were tuff for the hard rock scene in the US and such releases were what s left out of the hair metal movement! |
