A must have for any 'unplugged' fan...Coverdales voice sounds great and vandenberg's acoustic playing is superb....Cool stuff.!! |
From: David | Date: February 12, 2003 at 22:57 |
This is the worst unplugged release ever. I´m a Whitesnake fan but this one sucks. And I have never like Adrian Vandenberg in the band. |
From: diego | Date: February 16, 2003 at 17:58 |
the best unplugged I've ever heard. essential, elegant, 100 0.000000eeling. really cool both adrian and david are superb. there's no enought words.. just hear it!! |

'Good Evening' Coverdale rules, pretty cool album. |
From: Rycheage | Date: April 1, 2003 at 2:56 |
It is a fairly emotion charged set of songs, with hits from 1987, Slip Of The Tongue, Slide It In and a few new tracks off Restless Heart. If you are buying this, be warned - it is stripped and raw. But if you are a fan of Whitesnake like I am, then this record offers new insights into how the tunes were originally composed. |

Whitesnake in this instance is mearly David Coverdale and Adrian Vandenburg, playing to a polite auditorium of Japanese fans. One vocalist, one acoustic guitarist, and 10 of Whitesnake's finest tunes. So if you haven't got the innuendo by now, let me spell it out. You don't get much more laid back or softer than this. It is quiet, restrained and subdued. A couple of the tracks are slowed down, but all of them are stripped right back. |

I'm breaking the rules: The second comment is completely foolish. |
From: Cruise | Date: March 4, 2004 at 18:44 |
I really love this album. Totally stripped bare, these songs are allowed to shine in their original format. One acoustic, one voice - but what a voice. |
From: Co-Pilot | Date: April 9, 2004 at 22:18 |
I have always loved Adrian Vandenberg in everything...well almost all of it & more. This ofcourse was almost an entirely different entity as we know Whitesnake as metal ballad band was superb & this is accoustic charm. It had great appeal. I love both really. As for comment # 2 if I ever catch the cute Starkers accoustic guitarist..you won't be on the guest list to the wedding. LOL Very cute bit of funny..all grown up & very naughty. |

The cover to this Cd is nicely backlit & a caliber photo. The worst thing about it is it doesn't show the personality & character of the musicians. I mean in the Give me all your Love Video.....the Woo La Woo La Woo makes me wanna take off all my clothes & make babies. I knew I was lame but this proves it. At least the kids wouldn't be short. I always suspected I might be crazy; this proves I am just horny but what woman could blame me?? Have you seen him??? Opps more than you really wanted t |

This is one of the better 'unplugged' albums you can buy. The songs from their blues era songs good as expected in this format, but the songs from the hard rock era comes across very good as well. 8/10 |

MY WOMAN LOVES IT, so this must be great |
From: Propane | Date: December 1, 2004 at 21:51 |
I was pissed when I got this. For starters I never could stand un-plugged crap, and there was no band except Vandenberg on acoustic. I kept it but believe me, I've been tempted to chuck it a few times. |

A nice jesture cd for the fans of Whitesnake. One voice, one guitar. This won't convince anybody who already doesn't like Coverdale, but never the less who cares. Good job guys! |
From: hair metal again | Date: June 13, 2011 at 0:59 |
