Oh God, I Already listened samplers and the entire album too but i want it in ORIGINAL so.. I can Not wait for ordering this Very Expecting album NOW. Buy it ´cos this one will not disappoint to Anyone. Guaranteed!! WHITESNAKE & DAVID COVERDALE RULES!!

From: the rocker Date: March 15, 2008 at 10:20
i wish other bands , such as bon jovi and def leppard, just to name 2, would listen to this cd, and say wow.if whitesanake can put out a great rocking cd like this, playing music that they are best at doing , why can't we.this is a great cd.

From: RockMan10 Date: March 16, 2008 at 15:34
It's truly been 19 years since the last Whitesnake LP of any magnitude. Sure, Restless Heart satisfied some of Coverdale's blues crowd and it was a very good spin. However, the tunes off of GTBB is what we've all been waiting for. This is an absolutely STELLER disc. There is enough past in Aldrich and Beach's playing and offset harmonies to remind all Snake fans of 1985! Buy it and love it.

From: onemorecast Date: April 10, 2008 at 3:40
Cant wait to hear Doug and Reb dueling axes. David can still wail with the best of them.

From: ninjapeter Date: April 23, 2008 at 6:59
What a powerhouse of a band and album. This is such an amazingly fantastic disc. It is like they never missed a beat because it's as good as there "s/t and Slip of the tongue' albums. It shows they still have what it takes to put out an excellent album. I just wonder why it took so long to release this. I guess it takes time to produce greatness. Coverdale can still sing too. I rate 95/100.

From: NaughtyDevil Date: April 23, 2008 at 10:28
I Just Got This CD Today, I Was Very Impressed How Good It Was. Songs That Really Stand Out Are, "All For Love", "All I Want All I Need", "Summer Rain". A Must Own For Whitesnake Fans.

From: JLPRocks Date: April 28, 2008 at 14:56
Whitesnake is back with a vengeance! This album made me smile from beginning to end because of it's excellent 'rawkin' tunes and a solid effort from David Coverdale. Will definitely be in the top 10 or so by the end of the year!

From: shoemaker Date: April 29, 2008 at 11:24
I don´t like it, compared with the brilliant 1987 the guitar parts are totaly groove driven. Doug Aldrich has his style, but I hate it. He ruined a lot of the BAD MOON RISING material on the first BMR album.

From: darobinson Date: May 1, 2008 at 21:23
I am going to have to give this many more spins. Coverdale is still sounding good but the music has changed. Why not ask Ansley, John and Rudy to do another album? I think we would all be pleased with that line up.

From: darobinson Date: May 1, 2008 at 21:25
My bad. I meant Neil Murray when I was refering to the 1987 line up. That album is simply one of the best of all time.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: May 2, 2008 at 2:21
I think that's a great album 90/100 Mr DOUG ALDRITCH is showing once more to the world what a great player he is ! the only guy who can put the shinny boots of MR JOHN SYKES...even if nobody can be as good as him in WHITENAKE DAVID COVERDALE is in good shape...NOT perfect but almost perfect ! good prod and good musicianship ! The kind of songs are well balanced between Old and More "Modern" HARD ROCK and always a good guitar solo ! I think is not a classic but is the best WHITESNAKE album we can dream of ,in 2008 ! That's funny , because a lot of people are speaking about the loss of KEYBOARDS,but that's not a classic elements in WHITESNAKE's sound !What is really funny too , is that the same people who slashed "slip of the tongue" back in the day seems to consider it now as a CLASSIC album (i think it is)! I think "good to be bad" had some "slide it in" elements and it's the closest to Classic WHITESNAKE !

David coverdale ha vuelto con su prodigiosa capacidad para deleitarnos con ese rock al que nos tenía acostumbrados.magnifico album.

From: JRod72 Date: May 6, 2008 at 23:57
I just downloaded a few songs and I am pleasantly surprised. Best Years and Call On Me were killer. David Coverdale and co. have released a outstanding disc. If the rest of the disc is like this I'll be running to the store soon to pick up this disc.

From: ninjapeter Date: May 8, 2008 at 3:44
JRod72, go get it as fast as you can. If you like those two songs you will love it all. The whole album is very consistant and great. It will throw you back to the 80's when Whitesnake was riding high.

From: lalo r.o.c.k. Date: May 21, 2008 at 13:58
Great!great! band, i´ve just seen them last night here in Lima, and they made an incredible show,i will never forget it,David Coverdale´s voice still is great, and the two guitarsoug Aldrich and Reb Beach displayed magic solos in every song,3 songs of this album they played and my favorites are too,Best Years,All i want all i need and Lay down your love, unforgetable night,Ah!Can you hear the wind blow is other highlight and they played too, excelent album and a dream come true see them live!!.

From: Axe-Machine Date: May 26, 2008 at 20:03
Whitesnake is back, and how!! This isn't just a breath of life for the band, but rather an album to stand among their best. This offers the best of the early days mixed with their hair metal days, with an extra twist of Zep. Superb!

From: Geoff Date: May 28, 2008 at 20:27
This is a cool hard rock disc but I've found I'm not quite as enthusiastic as others are about it. 'All I want all I need' is easily my favourite song, and I love that one. The rest is mostly good, if not a little unspectacular. Nothing really sticks with me afterwards, except for that one song. Good disc overall.

From: metalmastermusic Date: June 2, 2008 at 8:21
This may be the best full album Whitesnake has put out to date. I liked quite a few songs from previous albums but they went all out on this album. Aldrich just blazes out the licks on this release. Coverdale rarely disappoints. So far this is my album of 2008. I hope that they come ot with onthger album with this lineup again. Aldrich turns most albums to gold and this one is no different. 95/100.

From: Scrounger Date: July 20, 2008 at 8:49
Well, well, what a return to form for the 'snakes! This cd is excellent, if not the best cd of the year so far! David Coverdale and Doug Aldrich have combined to write some really classy material here. This album is pretty much a follow up to "1987" & "Slip Of The Tongue" only better than the latter, quite bluesy, with a sprinkle of modern effects, while retaining the Whitesnake sound fans love. It's mainly rockers with fantastic full, rich riffs and a few slow acoustic-type numbers which run together perfectly. DC's voice isn't what it used to be, but he still blows away pretty much any singer around! Actually, I saw Whitesnake live w/Def Leppard at the Manchester M.E.N. and frankly, this album doesn't do them justice! The songs off this album translate so well live and sound so powerful, it was a great pleasure to witness it all and it was truly a night I will never forget. I'd advise everyone to buy this, for Whitesnake fans it's a must - it does not dissapoint!

From: onemorecast Date: July 28, 2008 at 2:44
great album, the bonus live disc was nice too. the playing is just fantastic. waiting for tour dates in the states. looking forward to see them live.

From: the rocker Date: August 1, 2008 at 14:32
i commented on this earlier, praising it!!.but has anyone else heard these bonus tracks. OH MY GOD!!. how could you make this cd any better, well they did with these extra tracks BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!

From: shark attack Date: September 20, 2008 at 12:51
Whilst JORN is winning gold at the Olympics proper for his latest effort. David Coverdale is trailing in last place in his event at the Paralympics, with his voice shot to pieces and a neutered band (did you cut the fingers off Reb Beach and Doug Aldrich to distract from your voice Dave???) this is a sad end note to a classic band. 45/100

From: Remastered Reason Date: September 23, 2008 at 21:24
Have to say that the comment above is laughable considering i like Jorn Lande also but Coverdale's vox is aging like fine wine to these ears. That killer rasp & his passion are still burning strong. Finally, i think Aldrich & Beach both carry a weighty pedigree which speaks for itself.

From: onemorecast Date: September 29, 2008 at 2:52
shark attack must have bought the wrong album. 99/100!!

From: Metal T Date: November 3, 2008 at 12:26
An awesome album from 'Dokken' and a kick-ass record from Whitesnake all in the same year.Ain't happened since '87...those riffs on "Can You Hear The Wind Blow" & "All For Love" beat the bitch! w/Coverdale sounding quite good vocally.Class.........

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 21, 2008 at 18:31
You are completely right Mr Metal T!!!.Great album with an edgy side!!!a must have!!!.90/100

From: edwithmj Date: July 12, 2009 at 12:28
Very impressed with this. More modern sounding but very loud and catchy. David has a very good voice and it's impossible to produce a bad album with it. My favourite songs are Best Years, All I Want, Summer Rain and Fool In Love.

From: WookieEnthal Date: July 14, 2009 at 4:49
I disliked this record very much. Coverdale's vocals sound so low that I couldn't understand him sometimes...maybe that's a good thing now, we'll se when I see them in Aug with Judas Priest. This album had too many modern elements to it...pass.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 14, 2009 at 20:39
Get better soon Mr Coverdale!!!!..take care of your vocal many years on the road may have passed you its bill...anyway,as i said in my previous message...great album!!!.

From: Animal! Date: January 31, 2011 at 14:41
Today's radio don't play these bands anymore. I think this is a great effort and should be played, but unless you are a fan and keep up with the band you would never know they still exist. Next up will be Nevermore and by all accounts it should be great as well. Slither on Whitesnake!

From: Doug Date: January 31, 2011 at 15:12
Good call "Animal," Lay Down Your Love is a tremendous track. Yeah, Coverdale's vocals are straining a bit these days, but Aldrich/Beach guitar work is amazing and this CD deserves more attention.

From: Animal! Date: February 15, 2011 at 22:18
The new album is Forevermore and today I heard a cut and it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: 123charpenay Date: March 27, 2011 at 11:56

whitesnake is one of my favourite bands ever. sound and voice is amzing, the only one. I heard forevermore and I can tell it's a very very good release, really rocks! Guitars are amazing, two great players

From: hair metal again Date: May 20, 2011 at 2:04
fantastic comeback by the greatest hard rock act of alltime.dont need to say much ,this is what a hard rock fan needs.the band is astonishing, david is the main attraction and good to be bad is a masterpiece.this is all i want and definitely all i need!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 4, 2011 at 22:27
Some good songs in here are "Can You Hear The Wind Blow","All For Love","All I Want All I Need"(AORish),"Good To Be Bad", "Lay Down Your Love","'Til The End Of Time" & "A Fool In Love"...89/100

From: MadMax Date: February 12, 2012 at 22:36
Oh my god this is boring. Beach and Aldrich sound so lame. Away is that magical touch and emotion from Sykes, Marsden, Moody, and even Vai fitted much better in WS. Riffs here are dragging and crunched way too hard. Every song is a filler, none of which would have made it to Slide It In or 1987. Coverdale sounds good but that's not enough to save this crap. 50/100

From: Doug Date: February 13, 2012 at 12:56
"MadMax" lay off the hippie lettuce, this album is amazing. Every comment above is positive, except yours. Hmmm...

From: MadMax Date: February 21, 2012 at 10:26
Actually not. But if you take a look, people write more likely on albums they are fond of so that doesn't really count. I wrote that because I'm a huge snake fan and also liked aldrich with Dio, and he was actually quite good on "live in the still of the night", BUT the more you listen to this "new WS sound" the more annoying it gets and finally you realize that it's mostly because of this unoriginal and boring guitar sound. You'll get there my friend!

From: 123charpenay Date: March 13, 2014 at 14:40
receive today "still good to be bad"(japan only).it s a japanese reissue from the excellent "good to be bad".on disc n°1 we have the eleven songs of good to be bad (in a different order),plus four bonus tracks."ready to rock" is an average song,"all i want is you" a beautiful ballad,"dog" a very great nervous song and "if you want me"(the best of the four)a top class typical whitesnake s song.i don t understand that this bomb was not on the original record.mystery. record n°2 is a dvd with three music video,an interview, and nine acoustic songs!!!!of course i recommand this brilliant and very complete reissue.i can add that this double cd s is very easy to find on ebay at a very decent know what you have to do.

From: juan carlos Date: March 19, 2014 at 21:30
I have this Great CD in Original (Special Edition). CD audio + Card + Sticker + Poster + Bonus CD. The bonus CD contain 4 songs: "Summer Rain" acoustic version, "All I Want all I Need" Radio edit, "Take me with you" live version and "Ready to Rock" enhanced video. Great Melodic Hardrock album indeed 95/100

From: blackkblade5 Date: February 10, 2015 at 11:16
i read some stupid comments from people here saiyng coverdale voice is bad...well ignore those people, sure mr.coverdale is not getting younger,so none of us,what we have here is probably one of the best hard rock albums of modern age,the songs are all superb, guitars are sharp, heavy with a make no prisioners attitude the whole album, david voice still sounds great, doug´s playing is amazing similar to the great john sykes, last this is not 1987 album,no,its better because whitesnake is alive and burning in a modern/alternative changed music cenario

From: tomdwa Date: April 23, 2020 at 15:58
My god, this record is loud and heavy, the songs as such are fine but are somewhat massacred by the wall of too heavily distorted guitars which kill much of the melody in the compositions. Two major exceptions: the song All i want all i need is very good (and has a more paused structure and balance), and 'Til the end of time is beautiful, even with a touch of Led Zeppelin at the end .
