Temporary Message Board Closure
The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that
would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling
to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different
platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content
(posts, user profiles, etc.).
However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere
from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated.
While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some
long-term savings.
The current message board will be closed down at some point this
Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are
reading this), will NOT be affected.

The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Crashing Angels are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| If you can get your ears around the track 'Under the moon'... just do it. I won't say worth the price alone (but very close), because the rest really isn't too good, but this one track is stunning. Sort of like Goo Goo Dolls or Gin Blossoms with a killer riff and melodic hard rock edge. I absolutely love this song, but have little time for the rest of the disc... though there are a few decent songs on here. Not a bad album, but not great, IMO.

| This band are related to fellow Canuck band 24 Unity (www.24unity.com). From Vancouver, this album came out as an Indie in 2001 and they have sound which is modern melodic rock with dashes of Dokken and Ratt. Not compulsory but if you see it lying around, have a listen.
