| I also disagree. During their time, they were defining in their approach. Powerhouse vocals and kickass instrumentalists. Very heavy rock. "See you in Hell" is Classic all the way and no doubt is responsible for influencing countless other rockers/metalists. 10/10

| A standard in 80's power rock. They have their place in time with the likes of DIO & HELLOWEEN and other power metal bands. Powerful vocals and outstanding guitar playing.

| I love the name of the band, and I love the album cover! They remind me a little of Helloween. If you love a falsetto voice than this guy is the man, he can really scream with the best of them.

| Steve Grimmett is a decent singer, but the only good songs on this were the title track and "Show Must Go On". The 2 albums they did after this were an improvement.

| Grim Reaper is the dealiest, rockin' like Dokken band since Great White! The biggest Grim Reaper ever got was that epsisode of Beavis and Butthead where they got flamed completely. I still laugh more at the actual video than anything the genius Mike Judge (Praise to Office Space) could come up with. And for that, I salute you Great White... Er... Grim Reaper. You're break from the busy world of Rock and Roll and into the fast paced innuendo of the Fast Food Service industry is well deserved.

| My copy is produced horribly, but the songs are melodic metal at it's finest (if you can overlook some really goofy lyrics in place). The ONE thing I always remembered about the Reaper is how positively ugly the bassist is. He looks like someone beat a fire out on his face with a bag of nickels. Highlights are the title track, 'Liar', 'D.O.A' & 'Now Or Never'...now that I think about it, this is awesome.

| Don't know what Nift and mike have been smokin, but this albums rocks from start to finish. Grimmets voice is one of the best in the biz and Nick bowcott's playing electrifies thruout! This band had talent galore, just not the push they deserved!!! Forever grim!!One of the truest rock n roll albums around!!!!!

| It's a great album of its time. but its a little on the primitive side, when you compare it to the thrash/speed metal coming out around that time. Great vocals though, but not much action on the drumming. No double bass. It makes it sound a bit primative compared to NWOBHM acts like Venom or Tank which used alot of double bass.

| Yes, LIONSHEART with GRIMMET. Specialy the first album (from 1992) is a killer. I didnt like him very much with ONSLAUGHT but on the first CHATEAUX album from 1983 he was just increible. GRIM RIPPER is one of my favorite bands ever!!!!!!!!SEE YOU IN HELL

| A must have for any 80's metal collection. Cool cover art and cool songs. Nice high-pitched, squeeze your balls vocals and killer guitars by Nick B. All time classic........go and buy it.

| By the way.........wrong cover pictured above. That's the Fear No Evil album cover, which is their next album. The See You In Hell album cover is definately cooler.

| It actually came out in 85, not 83. The best of their three albums, they were very good standard metal stuff. About the same heaviness as Armored Saint, Dio and Manowar. Steve Grimmett's voice could be annoying, but Nick Bowcott was a tremendous guitarist.

| Ever wonder why you never saw posters of Grimmett next to Bon Jovi or Brett Michaels on your sister's wall??? Because he's bloody ugly, but this is a great 80's metal album.

| Every artist (usually) has an album that's a perfect 10. This is Grim Reaper's. I have the disc that was released by COLLECTABLES (two in one disc that also had Fear No Evil). It was only ten bucks and well worth it.

| You can't go wrong with any Grim Reaper release. This one is worth it for the title track alone. It's a classic! If I would rate their albums I would say 1.Rock You To Hell 10/10 (being the most melodic, catchy, well written, and produced), 2. See You In Hell 9/10, and 3 Fear No Evil 7/10

| Otro de esos clásicos del metal británico, esta banda supo combinar de una manera excelente la agresión del heavy metal con melodías enganchosas, resultado no podía ser de otra forma que un clásico absoluto, quien podría discutir esa grandiosa voz de steve grimmett con esos registros vocales de otro mundo,temas asesinos como See you in hell(excelente tema)Deadon arrival, Liar, Run for your life,en general todo el album es grandioso y si buscas agresión y melodía SEE YOU IN HELL!!

| excellent debut by GRIM REAPER back in 83!screaming vocs,howling guitars,raw production and many straight heavy rockers are the basic elements.the result is very good and i think that SEE YOU IN HELL becomes essential as a classic of its era

A very solid and classic HM release!!!..."See You In Hell" is by far the best cut of it and a most for every self respected metalhead  ...some other fine moments are tracks 1(great!),2,4 & 7...enjoyable stuff indeed...85/100
