this is deffinately one of the finest rock bands ever to come from Germany. GREAT harmonies and stunning craftsmanship! I'm still looking for this Gem to replace my vinyl, anyone out there willing to sell or trade? I would die to have it on CD!

This is a real progressive hard rock, very good band

From: koogles Date: January 2, 2002 at 15:07
High-tech AOR never sounded better! Every song is well-craafted (sorry!) and sports a million dollar chorus! Unfortunately, a million bucks seems like the going rate/rape for this CD on eBay. If you can pick it up for $50 or under, you've done well. This is a CD that's damn near worth the investment! Imagine if the Scorpions and 'Welcome to the Real World'-era Mr. Mister squared off... the result would be this brilliant debut from Craaft. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

From: humpparules Date: February 17, 2002 at 9:42
I owned this CD years ago and sold this piece of shit for 6 or 7 $. No regrets untit I saw the price at ebay. This band was very hard pushed by the big german hardrock/hm-magazine 'metal hammer' so I don't think the CD is THAT RARE.

From: Paolo Date: June 17, 2002 at 17:41
I'm proud to hold the original cd in my collection. One of the best European Aor albums of the 80's. The expensive price is really deserved!

From: MusicEmporium Date: October 19, 2002 at 2:36
I have this album and Second Honeymoon on vinyl. Are they more or less collectable than the CDs. As for the music, Craaft in my opinion were a reasonable AOR band but lacked the killer punch when it cam to hooks.

To KOOGLES: The debut from CRAAFT is due to be re-released this summer. Normally it's about 30 EURO but the re-issue should be cheaper. Got this info from 'www.hangloose-records.com' You should check it out...

From: Scandinavia Date: June 24, 2003 at 12:01
Finally found this album...I love it! Great poprock/aor...Those keyboard sounds can make any 80s fanatic fall to his knees in awe. Very emotional and well-produced songs...A few fillers but not enough to make the album bad...Highlights so far: 'I wanna look...', 'Breakin' walls..', 'Wasted Years' and 'Cool town...'

From: Patrick Date: July 26, 2003 at 2:12
This album finally get reissued... with a 16 bonus tracks second cd ! Check http://www.ulftone.com/reissues/craaft/index-e.html

From: John Date: August 7, 2003 at 9:43
You have got to check out this demo from the re-issue: http://www.ulftone.com/reissues/craaft/I'm%20A%20Mover.mp3 I think you will understand why once you hear it. Does anyone check this stuff before they post it on the web? It skips really bad!!!

From: ERIK Date: August 14, 2003 at 13:26
Sounds like a polished Scorpions. Also sounds cleaner, and more 'modern'... Good stuff!

From: pablo Date: September 6, 2003 at 8:07
Lo acabo de comprar en edicion doble (contiene un cd extra con 16 temas de demos y versiones alternativas de los temas de este album) y merece mucho la pena ,gran cd de Hard AOR muy americanizado

it was just a luck for me to meet this band.i saw the tape (craaft/german) on the sale section!! i had no idea about it.but they look like 80's rock bands. i picked it up, put on the player and guess what? A brilliant album of rock, thanks to Germany.

This is a very good band. Huge choruses and very good songs. This was actually the last album I heard from these guys and although I like it a lot I was expecting a little better after the s/t release. Very good stuff though.

WONDERFUL,MASTERPIECE!!!ESTE, JUNTO A EL DE JOJO Y EL DE ZENO,CREO QUE SON LOS TRES MEJORES DEL AOR ALEMAN DE LOS 80´S.

From: Wotty Date: April 29, 2005 at 16:54
A blast from the 80s that contains all the elements from the era. It's all here, pulsing rhythms, guitar and keyboards duelling for dominance and vocals that work round the ballads and rockier elements.'Now That You're Gone',a personal fave,is a power-ballad that really sums up the time, and the rest, including the opener 'I Wanna Look In Your Eyes' makes you yearn for those days again...Now that's a review !!!

Wotty - glad you like this one - great album and my favourite of the three they released, although 'Second Honeymoon' is also worth tracking down. This is very 80's in its sound and maybe now a little dated for some people, but it does contain some great songs. Good to have it on re-issue aswell as the bonus disc contains some interesting demo versions and unreleased tracks.

From: Nick C Date: September 14, 2005 at 20:19
I had this, vinyl only, and it was ripped off at a party I went to a few years ago with a number of other albums (Angel 1st vinyl was one with cool insert..eventually replaced). Great keyboard / guitar interplay. Breakin Walls Ain't Easy I remember as my personal fave...if it has a re-release then I'll have to track it down!

From: Aorforever Date: July 28, 2006 at 9:36
Great album. Great rock Songs! ''You're the best thing in my life'' & Now that you're gone are great power ballads!!

From: Melodiker Date: August 2, 2006 at 19:16

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 6, 2007 at 17:43
Simply stunning debut by one of Germany's finest. Killer AOR with a Heavy side of keys. "I Wanna Look In Your Eyes", "Your The Best Thing In My Life", and "Now That Your Gone" are among the best this band have ever done. One listen and you'll know why this one goes for so much on ebay. If you can, get the 2 disc set. While the production is poor, the ureleased songs are just top notch and a must have for any Craaft fans collection!!!

From: juan carlos Date: February 13, 2007 at 23:42
Aor alegre con bastante profusión de teclados y buen punch en los coros. Los temas en sí no son tan de mi agrado, mas para fanáticos de lo descrito al principio. Los temas no enganchan como yo quisiera. De lejos el "Second Coming" es mejor. Mi favorita acá y también de lejos es: "Now That You´re Gone". 7.5/10

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: February 24, 2007 at 23:27
Aca habran favoritas pero no existe una cancion SUPERIOR al resto temas parejos si los hay personalmente me quedo con "Wasted Years" por ese comienzo lleno de Magia.

From: george_the_jack Date: June 15, 2008 at 11:44
Flamme and Harlings fuck off IDIOTS!!!!!! One of the greatest German bands ever that did not make out because of some idiots like both of you! Incredible AOR/MHR album! Pure class! If you like Bonfire/Fair Warning and Scorpions, run after them! 93/100

From: Magnus Date: February 28, 2009 at 17:19
This might be the best AOR/Mhr band Germany ever produced.Buy or die!! :-)

From: newscandi Date: March 2, 2009 at 14:49
I bought it.. now I wanna die No, it's not that dreary, but I expected something more after I grapped it. Of course, it's very scandinavian like -or German itself or say European at a whole- melodic rock. And that's not bad. Keys are good, voice are good, guitars are good. So what more do I want? Actually I can't figure it out myself, it just doesn't have the skill 78/100

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 27, 2011 at 21:02
Yeah very good album 4 sure...solid,catchy and melodic tracks..."I Wanna Look In Your Eyes","Breakin' Walls Ain't Easy","You're The Best Thing In My Life"(Killer one!),"I Guess You Are The Number One"(rocks),"Now That You Are Gone"(nice ballad),"Wasted Years" & "Cool Town Lovers"...get it!...Klaus Luley...a good vocalist by the way .90/100

From: 707STAR Date: May 24, 2016 at 21:09
WOW A MELODIC MASTERPIECE. THIS IS A MUST OWN CD. ONE OF THE BEST CDS OF ALL TIME WITH POWERFUL VOCALS AND GREAT GUITAR PLAYING. ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE BAND THEIR TIGHT. IT STILL BLOWS ME AWAY.

From: yamaha94 Date: October 9, 2019 at 1:39
This is one of the greatest AOR albums of all time. This needs to be on the top 100 list. Every song is fantastic. The followup is just as good. You will like this one. It grew on me.
