Nice! It's about time, Cold as A Stone is a classic, one of those metal bands that could really make up for dirth of talent, by just rocking out! What is this Retrospect Label? is this out on cd? last I heard the master tapes where burned up in a storage shed fire, or warehouse fire! they were burned up whatever kind of fire it was! so Im very interested to know about this!! |

Wow, this is a name I never thought I'd hear again... I too had heard the story about the master tapes to this album being lost in a fire so I have to wonder what kind of miracle happened to bring this obscure little nugget to Compact Disc. I truthfully only remember one track from this album, a mean little metal number called 'Dealer' that I heard from a college radio show back in the '80s but now I have to get my hands on this reissue and hear it again! Cool stuff! |

These guys are pretty damn good. 'I'm not waiting' is a great opener, 'Diamond' is a great commercial rocker and overall this one has it's moments. Not every track is a winner, but this will please fans of early 80's hard rock. Worth checking out. They remind me of fellow obscure rockers, Dagger... but these guys are better, IMO. |

I have this on album as well as their ep. The potential is there as songs like Dealer, Climbing the walls and Cold as a stone are really good. However it's got some real average songs as well. Certainly above average for the time though. |

Finally got my hands on this oldie but goody... as I somewhat expected, the majority of the album hasn't aged very well (think a slightly heavier version of Ratt) but the song I REALLY wanted to hear again after all these years, 'Dealer,' still kicks my ass! |

Good album(shamely i have it on vynil)and the Ratt and Dokken influence is noticed. They mention in the credits Paul Stanley(Kiss)and i wonder if the band opened concerts to Kiss back at that time or if Mr Stanley has to do anything with the production of the album.I haven't heard the ep songs and by the comments it seems to be worthy. |

Mhh, two sides of a coin. The first side of the original lp is great. Melodic metal similar to WARRIOR, "Nighttime is wild" reminds me of good old german band SINNER. The B side isnīt that strong. I havenīt heard the ep. |

Ok i have just gotten their "Afraid Of The Dark" Ep..well..good solid songs 4 sure!..."Afraid Of The Dark" is a cool number,"Diamond" rocks but "Time Flies" does it better!...the highlight of the Ep is the last song "Daddy's Girl"...reading my old comment back in 2007..("shamely have it on vinyl???"..hahaha,what i was thinking of to say such a silly statement!..it is WONDERFUL to have this in such format,i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!..hahaha...now is a shame to say that this act vanished afterward these 2 releases......for the Ep?...86/100 |

Undusted my old vynil once again...apart from thanking Paul Stanley & Kiss(as i wrote back in my 2007 comment) the band sent greetings to George Lynch,David Lee Roth and even KK Downing of Judas Priest(so probably the band toured with Lynch Mob,Judas Priest,Van Halen or David Lee Roth as a solo artist and of course Kiss)...about the songs in here "Cold As A Stone" is my fave cut,a mid tempo one with that AORish feel,"Diamonds","Nighttime Is Wild","Dealer"(rocks good!),"Drivin' Me Insane" & "She's Nasty" are also pretty good too...78/100 |
